I am 5'9" and usually wear an 8 and the 42 L for great, could have been a tiny longer but it worked and was perfect for the event. I was super comfortable and the slit gave it a little sexiness in an otherwise conservative dress!

Loved this dress and got a ton of compliments! It was perfect for a fundraiser. Business in the front, party in the back. I am 5'9" and 140 lbs and would have worn the 6, but the arms were a little tight so I sized up to the 8. The arms were more comfortable but I did have some room in the rest of the dress, but I don't think it was noticeable to anyone except me. Overall a great dress, just be sure you have someone who can hook the back for you as I couldn't do it on my own!

I am 5'9" and read all of the reviews before renting. I usually wear a 6 or an 8 so I rented both sizes. The 8 was snug. The pants were too short even with flats and the torso was also too short and was very uncomfortable. Also the flaps in the front don't stay or look like they do in the picture without a good amount of double sided tape. I was so excited for this rental for my birthday but unfortunately it came up short.

The dress definitely runs small and doesn't have much give to it, so as all the other girls have said size up. I would honestly take the larger size of the two sizes your considering and order that size and a size larger. I usually wear a 6 and wore the 8, I would have been curious to see how the 10 fit! Regardless a fab dress! And you can wear a regular bra which is an added bonus! The dress is also a bit brighter pink than it looks in the pics, but very pretty! I would highly recommend!

The zipper on the dress is not as pictured. The zipper is not down the back, but rather on the left side which causes it to bunch up a little on one side. Also the mesh cut outs on the sides are much smaller than they appear in the picture, you can barely notice the cut outs at all. The dress is comfortable, but I wish this info would have been disclosed. It does run true to size and is very form fitting. I did notice it riding up a little bit, but nothing that was annoying or wouldn't happen with a similar style dress. Not a bad rental and great for cooler weather.

I loved this dress so much, I didn't want to send it back! Got so many compliments too! It was comfortable to wear all night. Can't say enough good things about this dress. I ordered a M (and a L as my back up size), but the L was too big in the bust. M fit like a glove! I have wider hips so I wanted to have the L incase the M was too tight. I will definitely be renting a Herve Leger dress again!!

I read all the reviews and decided to go with a 6, my usual dress size, and as the reviews suggested, I also ordered a 4. Unfortunately the 4 was huge on me. I have a smaller bust (34B) and it was still too big. Additionally the cut-outs on the side of the dress were big and just hung. The whole dress was big everywhere and did nothing for me. I was sad that this dress did not work out. If you do order, I recommend ordering a size smaller than your normal size and then a size below that!
