I loved this dress. I didn't want to send it back and would definitely reserve it again. Wore it to a office holiday party this winter. Pros: The art-deco sequin look makes a statement. Minimal jewelry required. I loved the sleeves. The fabric is thick. Perfect for winter months Things to Consider: I definitely found myself pulling the dress down, especially after getting up from the table. The dress is no so short that it was ever indecent, but if that is something that bothers you, be mindful. The back is low, so you can't really wear a traditional bra.

Pros: Loved the colors (blue and gold are my favorite); they were even better in person. The high-low was just enough that I could walk comfortable and didn't worry about stepping on the hem, while still be being formal enough. I love the shape - the high neckline and slightly fuller skirt work well on my body. Cons: The mesh on the side could be more revealing if you're concerned with that. It didn't cut too high, so I was fine with it.

I was looking for a dress for a summer black tie wedding. Blue is my favorite/best color. This dress was perfect. The 4 I had intended to wear was returned damaged, so I was thrilled when the 2 fit as well as it did. I have wider hips so I wanted something that flowed away from hips. This skirt did that without being too full. The pockets are an added bonus. After reading another review I too decided to leave the clutch at home and put my phone and lip gloss in the deep pockets. I am 5'5' and the 2R was a little short with heels. I had to wear flats, but my feet were comfortable all night.

Wore the dress for a fancy office party. It was a last-minute decision. I made an appointment at the RTR Chicago store for Saturday AM. This was one of the first dresses the stylist picked for me. I loved it. Wore it that night. Got a lot of compliments. The dress really made my evening. I thought I was going to be self-conscious about the sheer panel, but location on my natural waist worked well. The skirt was my favorite part - fun and flirty while still appropriate.

I rented this dress for a black tie wedding (twice! three years apart). The color was amazing and the neckline really worked for me. It fit well, but I think I might have tripped over the hem a couple times. (I really wanted to kick my heels off halfway through the evening, but that wasn't really an option). I was able to wear with a strapless bra. Although the fabric is thick enough to smooth over little bumps, I opted for spanx as the dress was a little form-fitting. My favorite thing about this dress is the amazing royal blue color.
