I got so many compliments on this dress! It's definitely easier to get into this dress with a little help. My waist is about 30" and the size 4 fit perfectly. I have hardly any boobs, so there was no cleavage. I didn't even bother with fashion tape because the corset made everything fit flush. At 5'5" with 2-3" heels, the dress was still long, and I had to hold it when I walked to avoid tripping on it. I had a few slightly embarrassing moments getting stuck on stairs, but then learned I just had to pick up ALL the fabric before ascending!

To start off, I LOVED this dress! And if I didn't have to sit, I would have been more likely to wear it, but... it barely fit over my butt and thighs! It fit perfectly up top - I could easily wear a strapless bra. But the bottom...I was afraid the slit was going to rip when I sat. For reference, my waist is ~30", hips ~40.5", and each thigh ~24.5". I'm 5'5" and the Long was good with heels. If you may be doing a lot of walking, I could see that the sequins might irritate your inner arm.

I'm 5'5", about 145 lbs with narrow waist and bigger butt and thighs. My ribs below my breasts measure about 31" and my waist is about 28" with a long torso. I went with the 4L. The length was a little long with about 2.5" heels, so I needed to hold it when I walked, but it looked fine otherwise. The 4 was a little snug as the "waist" actually hit a little higher than my natural waist and more so on my ribs, but because of the stretchiness of the dress, it formed to my waist and was still flattering. I didn't even try on the 6 since the 4 fit. Warning: if there is any hair on the floor and the dress drags across it, the sequins WILL pick up the hair!

It had plenty of stretch to make room for my 18 week twin bump and show it off at the same time. High enough neckline where I could wear a regular bra (which was great since I only have one that fits my growing bust). Currently in a 34DD and weigh 155lbs. The color is a royal, but I think it leans more toward the purple side than the blue. Even next to other purple dresses, it still looked purple. The slit fell mid-thigh on me, and was slightly ripped, but not noticeably. Only a couple of complaints - There was a novel-sized stack of tags on the left hip - I really can't believe it hadn't been removed yet. Other complaint is that if I had wanted to wear heels, I would have needed to order a long. I'm not sure in what world 5'5" constitutes a long, but I feel sorry for the women who are actually tall and want to wear heels!

Unfortunately I was not able to wear heels with this dress because flat-footed it didn't even touch the ground (5'5"). It made for happier feet, but it felt weird being at a formal event without heels on. I wore the 2R and it fit for the most part. I have a small waist and have thicker thighs and butt, so it was a bit loose in the waist, and snug (but not uncomfortably so) in the butt/thigh area. For reference, my bust measures around 35", waist 28", and butt 42". Top fit perfectly. There was a weird thing with the sleeves where it looked like someone had folded the scallops under at some point, so throughout the evening some of them were out and some were still folded under. Not a big deal, just a little annoying,

I've had this dress in my favorites for a couple of years now and finally had the chance to rent it! Truth be told, the dress is starting to show a lot of wear, but you can't tell from afar. I'm 5'5", 143lbs, 28" waist, and 32D bust. I could squeeze into a 2, but it was uncomfortable and I needed assistance with the zipper. The 4 fit comfortably. It was tight on my chest, so if your breast are any larger, it might be a tight squeeze. I had no problem wearing a regular bra, which is a bonus. All in all, it's a great dress and I got lots of compliments.

I ordered a 4R with a 2R as my backup, and fortunately the 2R fit because oddly enough, the 4R was smaller than the 2R. (?) I included a note when I returned the dresses, so hopefully they'll get that one figured out. Besides that, I loved the dress! My waist measures about 27-28" and the 2 fit fine. I have a "barrel chest" as my dad calls it, so it was snug on the ribs, but not uncomfortably so. I also have a longer torso, so my natural waist was about an inch lower than the waist of the dress. Length was good. I actually didn't have to wear 4" heels, so that was a plus. A 3" heel worked great for my 5'5" height. I wore a racer-back bra so I wouldn't have to worry about the straps showing all night. Dress material is heavier which worked great for a February event.

I ordered a 6R and 4R. I'm 5'5" and have about a 28" waist. The 4R fit, but the 6R was more roomy in the ribs. After wearing the 4R around the house for a while, it relaxed a little (or I had better posture), so I decided to wear the 4R. Oddly enough, the 4R was longer than the 6R, so I had to wear 4" heals to keep from tripping over the dress, which was okay with me. I had no problems with a strapless bra showing in the front, sides or back. On the hanger, you can tell that the dress is starting to wear a little bit, but you couldn't tell while I was wearing it. The zipper did a weird gap thing on my back, but I think it's because I have a sway back. It's a beautiful dress, and I'm so glad I did RTR! It was my first time, and I was pleased with the experience!
