I'm usually a 16 in dresses and got the 16R. It was so beautiful, but the back was too small and would not zip. I was so sad. I wish it came in a size bigger. Dress has zero stretch, too.

Material is not forgiving. I'm glad this was my back-up dress (and that my first choice did fit!). Area under arms are really tight. The material also does feel a bit worn out, so it may be time to retire this piece.

My top half is generally bigger (42C/D) and when I wear gowns, I usually have to get 2 sizes UP. But for this rental, I could have worn two sizes DOWN. No joke! I'm normally a 16/18 in pants but the waist on this dress was big. I wore the 18 regular (had 20R as back up) but the dress was still noticeably baggy, especially under my arms. Fortunately I was able to get the dress "fitted" by safety pinning the sides in. The dress definitely runs big overall but I had compliments flowing all night, starting from the moment I stepped out of the hotel room. I wish I could buy this dress!
