Didn't work
This dress is less expensive than the ones I typically get and didn't have the same quality heft. I wanted to like it but my husband said it looked awful on me. The skirt part balloons out like a bell (perhaps due to my body shape?), and the lace detail on the bottom showed through to my thighs and made them look really bad. Otherwise it was pretty - but just not great for somebody who doesn't have the greatest lower body

This dress looked amazing and hid the flaws of a pear shape
This dress was awesome! I'm 5'3 and it came down to the lower part of my knee. While the lace covers the cleavage, I would have felt it a bit risque for some family situations.

Looked like a red sack
My husband said it looks like you are wearing a red sack. I'm not sure if a smaller size would have been better, but there wasn't nearly enough tailoring at the waist.

Fit amazing. Emphasized my waist.
This dress fit amazingly. It made my pear shape look great and fit well. It was a cloth dress though so wasn't super formal. Also I had to wear a larger size than usual.

Very nice, good for wedding
The material and cut on this dress would have been great. (very slimming) And it even has pockets! It also was knee length for me (which was good). Unfortunately, they were out of my size (10) so I got an 8, and it was just too tight on the waist., so I didn't wear it.

Absolutely stunning dress - but too long for me
I was worried about this dress as I think it looks a little funny on the model, but it was very flattering even though I am not thin. The material was lovely and the colors in the dress are beautiful. It was a very nice dress, and a little more formal than I needed - would have been great for a wedding. For me - it was too long on me (5'3), and well hit below the knee - making me look short. Also my husband started commenting towards the end of the night that my cleavage was a little too apparent (perhaps the dress slid down).

Made me look thinner, but short
I ended up not wearing this dress to the party because my family said it made me look too short (but thinner!). At 5'3, the dress ended up being more "tea length", making me look short. The arm cuts did make me look much thinner I thought, which was a big plus in my book. It also runs large. I wore the smaller back upside, and it wasn't tight. The arm cuts make bra choices difficult as well - but the liner is such that you can wear it without one.

This was my back up dress, but I ended up wearing it because being only 5'3 it hit me at the knee, and was more stylistically appropriate for NYE. At the event I had two strangers come up to me to complement me on the dress, which made it awesome.
