This dress is stunning. I wore it to a formal fundraiser and got compliments all night long. I am 5 foot 9 and the long was perfect with 3 inch heels. The back is open and plunging, I ended up having to buy a backless spanx contraption that was more than the dress, but worth it for the look.

Worn for a wedding rehearsal dinner. A little short for my 5'9'' frame, and a tidge tight in my chest, but was so fun and flattering, who cares? If you are tall avoid bending. If you have a big chest, wear a minimizer bra and avoid big breaths, a small price to pay for a night of this cute.

I almost didn't wear this necklace as it was much larger and heavier than I anticipated, but friends encouraged me to keep it on and I am glad I did as it really does get attention. There are several loops to close the necklace, so it can be shortened or lengthened to better suit whatever dress it is worn with. This necklace is such a commanding piece of jewelry that it should only be worn with the simplest of stud or small hoop earrings. I rented a pair of blue earrings and ended up not wearing them; wearing both the necklace and large earrings is overkill.

I was a little hesitant to put vertical stripes on a big skirt around my butt, but the dress is so pretty I had to give it a try. First, the blues are unbelievable; vibrant, cheerful, flattering. The skirt did accentuate my hip and butt a bit more than I usually like, but it didn't feel like a tent on my lower half. And, I love dresses with pockets, especially those big enough to hold my phone! The material is thick, well made, and may be a bit too heavy for the heat of summer, but was perfect for a spring day. The 10 didn't make it around my chest, the 12 fit well, although was a bit snug around the chest after an afternoon of salty foods and boozy drinks. I received many compliments on the dress from both women and men. I'd highly recommend renting this for a shower, day wedding, spring party, polo match, or graduation party.

The color of these earrings is stunning, but I couldn't keep them on very long as they are surprisingly heavy. They don't look that big, but whatever the material is, the earring was tearing at my piercing hole. I actually had to wear these in the second hole, giving the earrings a bit more lobe to balance on. It's a shame the weight of these make them nearly impossible to wear because they really are a unique and flattering color and design.

I love the look of this dress; classy with a bit of flare. However, I was unable to wear it out. I got the 10 with no backup 12, but it wouldn't have mattered. The 10 was really snug on my booty, but even with a larger chest, the top of the dress was huge. Double-sided tape should be standard issue with this dress or the blouse will cause a wardrobe malfunction.

I wore this for a bachelorette party and received many compliments. It's very lightweight, making it easy to wear. The clasp is at a set length, which worked well for me as I am tall, but may end up a little too long on some women. My only warning is each piece of the bib is an individual charm on a wire. I had no issues with losing those "charms," but a previous renter must have because several of the charms were on the necklace backwards. This was easily fixed, but if the necklace does not appear smooth because of backwards charms they can easily be popped of and right-sided.

At 5 foot 9 the only way I could wear this and not "pull a Brittany" would require pants. I have shirts longer than this dress, and there was just no way I could wear it out of the house. Additionally, the sleeves on this are very narrow. If you have built arms, like I do, you will have issues pulling the dress over your biceps. I was really disappointed not to wear this dress to a holiday party as the color is absolutely stunning, but really only good on more petite women.

This dress is super sexy, however, I ended up returning it. I should have heeded earlier warnings; the sideboob on this dress is out of control. Anyone with anything bigger than a B cup should steer clear. If you have a chest that requires a bra to get the girls to stand at attention then avoid this dress. Anything but pasties or tape will show on the sides of the dress. If you are one of those lucky ladies who are still super perky and don't require a bra, give this a whirl.

I wanted to love this dress so much, but it just isn't cut well. The fabric is gorgeous, the halter sexy, and I love dresses with pockets. But it runs pretty big; even the 10 was gaping at the top and I am no 8. The halter is nonadjustable; I had to use a black hair band to tighten it so it would stay up. The neckline is much, much lower than it looks on the model; she must have it closed with a pin or tape. I was surprised how good the length was given how short it looks on the model, but it was long enough even for my height. This dress would be great to give ladies without curves the illusion of hips, but if you already have hips this dress isn't for you. The cut of the skirt made my bottom half look 3 times its usual size. Not flattering in the least bit.

This was my first Rent the Runway total miss. The fabric is thin and cheap; my nude bra was completely visible through the cream top. My particular dress had a stain on the right nipple. The dress runs very small, as evidenced by a number of holes up the seams from previous renters who tried to squeeze themselves into this dress. Unless you are built like a toothpick the fabric on this dress is completely unflattering. Ladies with boobs or curves, steer clear.

I'm glad I got the 12 because the 10 was so tight around my bust it flattened my chest. The best part of this dress is the color; it's bold, beautiful, and definitely stood out in the crowd. I wore it on vacation and it looked great with a tan! The photo doesn't reflect it, but it was a tidge shorter than I'd normally wear. This was accentuated by how flowy the dress is; a twist or turn sent the skirt twirling up. Also had to be very careful bending over to pick something up. This is a great dress if you have good shoulders, legs, or a longer neck. I didn't do the necklace like the motel as I thought it detracted from the sexiness of the asymmetrical cut. My only real complaint is I wish the zipper went up the back or the right side to hide it better from photos; it's under the sleeveless side with is the side you want to show off.

I am 5' 9'', a size 10, and fairly big boned and I nearly had the bracelets fly off my wrist over a dozen times throughout the nights. They are gigantic and I had to keep my thumb and pinkey spread out just to keep the bracelets on. Additionally, since these are each a separate bangle bracelet they clang against each other and are very loud. Despite the poor sizing and percussion like noise, the bracelets are beautiful and could work out great for someone with large wrists and hands.

I loved this bracelet; it was nearly impossible to put into the box and ship it back to Rent the Runway! It is simple yet elegant with a little flash. The previous renter had bigger wrists than I did which was not a problem, I just pinched the bracelet a little and it fit my wrist very well. It went incredibly well with the gold belt on the Nicole Miller View from the Heavens gown I wore it with. This versatile bracelet doesn't have to be just for formal occasions; I got an additional wear out of it with pants and a tank for a night dancing with friends. Several random strangers complimented me on the bracelet.

I could have worn the 10L but opted for the 12L for more comfort in the bust. The color of the dress is rich and gorgeous. I got tons of compliments on the look. I was expecting the belt to be more like a belt, but it fabric sewn to the dress to look like a belt. The inner layer of the dress is fitted and the outer layer is "flowy," so if you have hips this isn't an a-line like fit. I loved how the dress flowed in the wind; one person said I looked like Wonder Woman as I walked across the deck of a cruise ship. The top layer also helps with a post-dinner "food baby." Word of caution; be careful putting this on. The transition from the fabric to the belted fabric and back is a bit difficult and my husband for the first time actually got me with the zipper. Ouch. I am 5' 9'' and all leg and am very happy I ordered the long. I wore these with a 3 inch heel and the length was near perfect.

This necklace is a showstopper and turns heads. It is bold, beautiful, and a perfect complement to many styles. I thought it would be heavy but it is very comfortable. The only con I noticed is it picks up fingerprints so you have to be careful to keep your own and your date's hands off of it. I ended up carrying a small lens/phone screen cloth with me to wipe off accidental prints. This is a small price to pay for something so stunning. My husband barely notices my accessories but found the necklace on the internet and bought it for me shortly after the event.

I ordered the 10 and the 12; the 12 was gigantic- a previous renter must have stretched it a bit. The 10 was a bit snug in the bust. The armholes were also cut a bit small; after a night of dancing I had rope burn-like marks by my armpits. The material is also a bit more "cottoney" and had less sheen than I thought it would. This also meant it arrived a bit wrinkled and needed touching up before the wedding. But, even with all those issues, it was a head turner for it's stunning simplicity.

This is a head turner because people expect black and are wowed by the intensity of the blue color. I am always worried about the length when renting but this worked out well with my long legs. The bottom isn't a full a-line flare but don't worry ladies with curves; it still fits the hips. It is possible I could have gone down to the 8 but this was comfortable. Note: Most cameras and lighting will photograph this dress as black, but to the eye it is midnight blue. If your event is all about the photos and you don't want black, then go for another dress.

I ordered the Riptide and the Berry Ombre for a fashion show and party and I'm so glad I ordered the backup dress; this dress was obscenely short on me. Other Herve's run longer, this one was closer to a tube top.

I cannot say enough good things about this dress; the cut, the colors, the fit, the attention I got! Seriously, people were stopping me on the streets to compliment this dress. The bandages suck you in like a light girdle too, and it was super comfortable. I was concerned at the dress riding up but didn't have a problem. A regular strapless bra worked well. I got this as the backup dress for the evening and it was the knockout winner for me compared to the riptide that was too short and not as attention getting. Order this dress, you will not be sorry!
