A RTR stylist graciously selected this dress for me as an emergency backup when I thought my original dress wasn't going to fit. I'm a size 10 in regular clothes and am in the process of losing weight - I honestly think that I needed to be bigger to make this dress look good. It was so much extra fabric that just hung onto my body that I think that the size 12 wouldn't have worked either. THis dress would be great if you really have things to hide (and for me to say that its a big deal bc Im usually very hard on myself). I just think it doesn't do much to flatter my shape....

Loved this dress as a backup but ended up not wearing it because it was a bit too risqué for the conservative event I was hosting. The dress lays beautifully and the material is rich - zipped up easily and my girls who were getting dressed with me told me I looked like Jessica Rabbit in it - I took the compliment! :)

This dress was selected by an RTR stylist and sent to me as a backup to my backups! it's AMAZING and I totally would have worn it but I ended up getting the zipper up on my first choice (ML by Monique Lhullier j'adore gown) BUT I loved this dress so much that I actually brought it with me to the event in case I needed to or wanted to change. It's that fabulous that I totally wanted to wear it lol. It accentuates you in the right places - the side accents make your waist look smaller. I rented a 14 bc it was totally last minute. As a size 10 in regular clothing I could've worn a 12 in this but the 14 was fine too...

I fell in love with this dress immediately - it came on a Friday night (my event was on a Saturday) and my husband wasn't home yet to help me zip it up - I panicked and tried on my backup (a Bagdley Mischka asymmetrical black gown) which totally fit but true to the reviews of that dress - the arm hole was uncomfortable. Knowing that I was going to a black tie event for work I thought that might not be the best choice. I emailed RTR and was told to call to get another option overnighted to me. I called and was told that I was past the cutoff. Completely sad and in a panic, I re-emailed RTR and my stylist from earlier let me know that 15 minutes before the cutoff she had selected styles for me and they'd arrive by noon. Above and beyond for sure!! Two of my girlfriends came over the next day- we tried on the other options but my heart was still set on this - my original choice. The other reviews are all right - the beaded area is extremely stiff and the zipper is TOUGH. with their help I got the zipper up and stayed in the gown from 2pm till past 2am! I have a large chest 36DD+ and am carrying extra weight in my midsection that I never lost after having my daughter - this dress was comfortable and even I didn't have to wear a bra! The pockets were amazing - I was able to carry my phone with me (helpful for a work event). I felt glamorous and graceful. A must rent dress. I posted the other pic of my girlfriends bc the two gold dresses are also from RTR - amazing and beautiful on my friends as well and they were super happy too!!
