Feminine, Flappy and Fun
Wore this dress to the Kentucky Derby. It was actually a back-up to my original dress but it ended up being perfect. The dress is pretty structured - not a lot of stretch but still ended up being fitted in all the right places (chest, back and upper waist). The neckline accentuates those with a larger chest and broad shoulders (oh - that’s me!) and the bottom half flares out to give grace to larger booties/hips. The fabric is preppy and the prettiest of blues making it perfect for a spring time event. I had no issue wearing a regular strapless bra (although the RTR description recommends a nubra/no bra). My tatas were fully covered with no award bra appearances.

Wore to a rehearsal dinner. Tags were still on and was in pristine condition. The fabric - slightly metallic - would be perfect for a fall or winter event. It incorporates copper which is so hot right now. The skirt fits the waist and flares out which could hide a larger bottom. Would rent this dress again as it was a happy accident (a last minute back-up dress)

Complementary cut, fabric, hemline for a total winner
Wore this dress to a early fall wedding. Tags were still on so it was in perfect condition. The fit minimized my large chest and the halter neckline highlighted my broad, strong shoulders. The dress fits snuggly but is definitely forgiving and long enough to wear full Spanx to smooth everything out. Loved the flounce hemline - super fun to dance about in. Accessorized with the RTR Marchesa Jewelry Eternal Garden Flower Drop Earrings for a romantic look.

Fashionable blank canvas.
Rented for a summer wedding. I have a larger bust so typically stray away from high necklines. But the halter “look” pulls the eyes in and up and allows for fun accessorization. This dress also has some magical waistline, because it somehow gave me a waist that I typically don’t see. The dress is super tight and had to size up from my normal 10. Wore it with a strapless bra and full tummy Spanx. Between that and the dress’s fabric, I felt pulled in all night long, but comfortable enough to tear up the dance floor. A definite good go-to for any formal event.

A total win in all areas (fit, style, budget).
Rented for a summer wedding. The color is gorgeous and the lace overlay feels fresh; the vertical pattern aids to the illusion you have a longer body than (maybe) you do. Also, the invisible waist seam helps define the middle area. Optical illusion for the slimming win! I was able to wear a strapless bra but the adjustable straps helped “everything” stay lifted. The nude slip is pretty short but wore Spanx Skinny Britches without revealing anything. Paired the dress with RTR’s Sarah Magid’s Ingot Bar Earrings to play up the geometric shapes.

Goes With Everything
Paired these with a RTR rental (CARMEN MARC VALVO, Racing Florals Dress) and LOVED them. The shape and style of the earrings are elegant and just enough "wow power" to add a punch to any ensemble. The mint/gold/pale pink is neutral enough that I could see these pairing well with numerous RTR dresses and outfits. They are on the heavier side but totally worth the suffering.

Fun Pattern for a Fun Night
I rented this dress for a mid-September Chicago wedding. The b+w pattern and jacquard fabric was a good choice for our Midwestern in-between-season (the temperatures can be completely unpredictable). I have a large bust and broad shoulders; the 10 was just a tad snug but nothing pulled and I felt like I could move freely (especially on the dance floor). The cinched waist gave me some shape and the hemline hit PERFECTLY below my knees, making my muscular gams look shapely. The dress could have used an iron but the floral pattern hid this well. The dress was pretty and fun but not a knockout like some of the other dresses I’ve rented from RTR. I paired the rental with the suggested Slate and Willow Pale Pink Floret Earrings; LOVED the earrings (they could easily be paired with a hundred other dresses/outfits).

Flirty, fuchsia frock perfect for flying around the dance floor
Fun and flirty, I wore this number to a summer wedding. The top has a complementing sweetheart neckline while the side panels are made of forgiving, stretchy fabric. With this, I was able to go down a size. I WOULD NOT wear this to an outdoor wedding. The skirt is billowy and any gentle breeze will give everyone a show. I learned this the hard way while waiting outside the church for the happy couple to depart. However, the skirt is definitely a ‘twirly dress,’ meant for being whipped around the dance floor like a disco queen. I’d recommend this dress if you’re looking for a vibrant pop of color in a comfortable fit.

Chic and slimming stunner
A great fit. The fabric is stretchy, allowing for some "give" in trouble areas (like another review said, the hip area can be a bit snug and I consider myself to have narrow hips). Before trying it on, I was concerned the color blocking would make me look hefty on top, but the strategic place of the blocking was actually flattering to my waist and bust. The back zipper is a fun detail, and can be unzipped from the bottom to allow for extra movement (think: reception dance floor). I'd order your normal size and a size up (the 12 was WAY too big in the bust, but more forgiving in the hip area); just depends on your body type. Got many, many compliments all night.
