Odd proportions & details
Let’s start with what’s really nice about this dress: the weight of the fabric is really lovely, the color gives dark cherry cola. That being said, the fit and the details of the dress are a little bit odd. It is shorter in the center than it is around the circumference of the skirt and the straps on the shoulders do not lay flat. I think there’s a lot of room for improvement with the fit on a curvier body and this one sadly won’t be worn in this rental cycle.

Shorter than expected
This is a beautiful rich navy cable knit sweater, but it’s much shorter than expected based on the model photo and other reviews. Don’t get me wrong, the quality is lovely and it’s super toasty. That said, I was under the impression it would be longer waisted which made it more difficult to style.

Wanted to love it, but it’s a flop for me
I saw this become available and was so excited to rent. I planned to wear it with some black boots and gold accessories, alas, I cannot lift my arms in this dress. If I do, everything is exposed and as a teacher, that is an absolute no-go. The fit itself is fine, it just really doesn’t do much for my figure.

Odd fit, unhappy with the off proportions
While I adore the concept of a denim dress, this one was a major miss. It’s far too tight in the bus, the sleeves are very short and the collar would not stay down. It does have a decent amount of stretch, which is nice however, I did not find it flattering, and it felt very constricting on the body. Would not recommend for curvier gals or those with a larger bust.

Book faire perfection
I rented this with my membership to wear to an Enchanted Book Faire, and it was a hit. The weather was a bit warmer than expected, but the layers are so lightweight that I was comfortable the whole time. I got loads of compliments on the whimsical print, and it totally fit the theme of the event. Highly recommend!

So many compliments!
Not only is this jacket adorable and easy to style, but I got so many compliments while wearing it. I normally don't wear anything sparkly, but the gold interwoven into this jacket is so balanced. I wore this with the brown Modern Citizen top available to rent, wide-leg jeans, and a brown kitten heel. Highly recommend!!

The fit of the top was just right. Beautiful color, unique neckline, and perfect amount of stretch. I wore this tucked into some high-waisted, wide-leg jeans with a suede kitten heel with another rented piece, a little tweed jacket. A PERFECT combination for a day of teaching. Highly recommend!

Eh, it's fine.
Just a note - this review is heavily based on personal taste as opposed to quality or fit issues. The weight of the fabric on this dress was very nice and the overall cut was fine, I just found the colors to be drab and matronly. The pattern is not as distinctive in person as it is in the photo. In addition, I found the buttons to be a little tricky as they're quite small. I ended up not wearing it because it made me feel quite boring.

A million compliments!
I could not keep up with the compliments while wearing this dress - the fit was fantastic and super comfy to wear at Oktoberfest, all day long. I’m a 38DD AND wore this without a bra and great comfort all day long. HIGHLY recommend!!

Birthday Dress Dream!
This is SO bust-friendly - it's unreal. I wore this for my 34th bday and it was a total show-stopper. I rented sizes 12 and 14, and ended up wearing the 12. It was VERY supportive and comfortable to wear all night long - cannot recommend enough!!

As a teacher, I know how to grade something when I see it: •cuteness? A+ •quality? A •fit? B- The fabric is a lovely heavy cotton and I got many compliments at work. However, while I am broad shouldered and larger in the bust, the shoulders were an issue for me. They didn’t fall down, but I was fidgeting with them all day. Plus, he back is cut lower than expected and the band of my bra kept poking out. Not ideal as a teacher. So, overall, B+.

This dress is not only incredibly fun, but so comfortable. I’m typically a large or X-Large, 12/14 depending on the brand and rented an XL in this. Stylistically, I wanted it looser to pull out on top a little to belt it and that was a great choice. I am so in love with this and cannot wait to wear it again. I teach middle school and this was great for a day of walking around the classroom - so many compliments, too!!

While this dress did fit, it wasn't anything to write home about. The sleeves fell a little awkwardly, and the buttons gaped a bit. The skirt of the dress is very pretty, but I skipped wearing this one.

Wanted to love it
I love Madewell, I love a vest, but this did not work. I'm a 38DD, and this did not work for me. I'm certain if you're a D-cup for smaller, this could work for you. It pulled in the middle and flattened my chest, and it was very uncomfortable. Too bad since it's so cute.

Gorgeous crochet dress
I rented this with my membership to wear on a date with my husband for our 4th wedding anniversary. The quality is top-notch and it's so beautiful. Took away one star because it's a smidge too big, still wearable though. Next time, I'd go down one size as there is a decent amount of stretch. I plan on wearing it with some beige platform sandals and a little bag with complementary colors in the dress. Highly recommend this one! Did I mention how SOFT it is??

I wanted to love it.
Do you have a long toso and borad shoulders? Perhaps, you also have a larger bust? I do, and this did not work for me. It's too bad as I thought this was adorable on the model and the other ladies wearing this in review photos. The arm holes are very shallow and the seam at the bust cut straight across my chest instead of under. It's also much too short. Too bad, will have to swap for something different.

Not for those with a long torso
Well, while I was beyond excited to recieve this in my shipment, this was not wearable. I followed the fit guide provided by RTR and ordered a large. Wishing I'd gone a size up. This was so incredibly short on me, it may have as well been a bralette. While that may be cute for some, it's not for me. The tummy must be covered and this carely covered my bust. Id you're larger than a C cup, I'd recommend sizing up.

Need a perfect little summer dress? Check out this little yellow number. Be warned, she is a little on the short side. I’m 5’9 and cannot bend over to grab anything in this little dress. She is, however, super comfortable and great for the summer heat. The elastic at the waist is very forgiving. The straps are bra friendly, but I felt like I had enough support with the dress alone, 38D.

Adorable little white top!
I was worried the cups of this top would be too small, but it's just right! I truly love that it's long enough as well. I have a long torso, and sometimes tops are far too cropped. This goes perfectly with some skirts and pants I already own, and I cannot wait to wear this this month! Bust-friendly, adjustable straps, and too cute to boot!

Gorgeous color, weird fit
The way I struggled to get into this dress...it required myself and my bestie to help me worm into it. Once it was on, I was SO hopeful because it felt compressive, just like a good bodycon does. BUT, once I looked in the mirror, I had to keep adjusting it to look "right". I tried it with a shaper, I tried without, and I could not find a solution to make this work. I am a curvy gal, and based on the reviews, I was under the impression that this would be curve-friendly. And while it might be, the sheer need to constantly adjust made this a no for me. I will say, the colors are stunning, and the fabric has a great hand feel. Hopefully, this will work for you!

Made for smaller busts
The quality of this STAUD top was so lovely; I don't think it had ever been worn before, as my rental arrived with the tags still on. All that being said, it would not button over my bust. This lacks stretch and would definitely be better suited to someone with slimmer shoulders and a smaller cup size. I hope RTR can stock this in other sizes!

Tall girlies beware!
While this dress is absolutely stunning, it is so incredibly short. I'm 5'9, and this might as well have been a top. I would not be able to walk down the Vegas strip without flashing every single passerby. It's important to note as well that this is not large bust friendly. I'm a 38DD and this would not zip at the top. I'm sad because I was so excited to wear this to a disco. Fortunately, RTR customer service was able to help me out and I am in the process of swapping my order. While this dress may not have worked, the RTR team definitely did!

So fun!
This was a top-ranking rental for me. I'm a teacher and this was such a hit at work. It's sheer, just paired it with a tank underneath and voila! I recommend a gray tank for a more seamless look. I wore it a few times with different fits of jeans. My favorite look was a pair of mid-rise bootcut, tan flat forms, and this top. Highly recommend!
