The fabric and construction were nice, this is a well-made piece. I am between a M and L so I sized down based on other reviews and I think I got the right fit. What I did not like is how wide the shoulders and waist are in this top, and the peplum-like drape at the hips. Never wore it because it was unflattering, happy to return it. Maybe if I had gotten a L the hips wouldn't have flared out so much, but the chest and shoulders would have been too big.

Fit was true to size for Madewell, with some stretch but not a lot. Did not stretch out throughout the day, and retained its shape well. What I did not like about these jeans was the narrow waistband and the seam down the back of the legs. The seam felt stiff, and the narrow band made the pants a little less comfortable as the day went on.

Boxy and purposefully an oversized fit with perfect length for my 5’4” frame. Very cozy and warm, great for cooler beach evenings and vacation vibes. Kept for 2 cycles - got lots of compliments and the sweater made me smile every time I wore it.
