Got lots of compliments and really stood out in a sea of black dresses. I was really worried about how short it was when I first tried it on as it was falling above my ankles with heels on which looked awkward. It's a stretchy and heavy dress though so I hung it from a door frame over night and it stretched out to almost the perfect length! I would definitely order the long though if you're going to wear tall heels. And get a friend to zip you up! The zipper is pretty stiff at first.
