It is a slip dress, so I should not have expected much but it’s also more casual than I would have thought, considering I found it in “black tie wedding” lists. I have two kids and things have gone a bit soft in the middle 😆 and this dress really emphasized that area. This could be great for a skinny person with a medium sized chest at a beach wedding, but did not work for my body

This is ended up being more casual than I expected, considering I found it in the black tie category. It would work for a beach or garden wedding, but I would not wear this to a black event. The string for the halter is very stiff and even when I had it pulled very tight still felt like it wasn't pulling up the top of the dress enough (because of how the string also goes up around the sides by your armpits). I have mom boobs and it definitely did not provide enough support nor was there enough room for you to really put a good strapless bra under the top.

It was so comfortable to wear and the pockets are a definite bonus. I was debating between the 6 and the 4 due to a few extra summer pounds around the belly but the 4 fit perfectly. The straps are a little longer than I would have liked and with the low back, I wasn’t able to wear a real bra. Luckily the fabric is sturdy enough that it held itself in place and I wasn’t worried about popping out even with dancing.
