For clip-on earrings these are surprisingly light because the base material is black leather, not metal. This also makes them just a little bit edgy which is a plus in my mind. When the earrings arrived the stones were loose, but it was easy to tighten the prongs with tweezers so they didn't fall out. I did not wear them as they were a bit larger than expected and were there was too much going on when worn with the crystal Badgley Mishka necklace I also rented. I will definitely rent again though (or buy them if I can find them!).

This necklace completely made my outfit. While everyone else was wearing ball gowns to the opening of the SF Ballet, I wore this necklace with a Komarov black and white tea-length giraffe print dress in crinkled chiffon. Without this necklace I would have looked a bit like Miss Marple amidst all the glamour of the girls in their long gowns. With the necklace however, I actually received several comments from strangers: What a great necklace! Wow, I love your necklace! Etc., etc. Would definitely rent again.

Couldn't wear this as dress wouldn't go over my shoulders. But for another person, the quality of fabric and color were very nice. I'm not sure what the fit problem was, I have swimmer's shoulders so a little broader than most, but not crazy linebacker broad. Oh well. Suggest talking with a stylist on this one. It definitely would have worked really well at my garden party wedding in 100-degree heat. The pattern/fabric doesn't need a lot of accessories. Maybe just a great pair of earrings as shown.

Rented these to wear with the Monique lluillier lace sheath dress (in red) which unfortunately didn't work out. They would have overpowered the black lace & pink floral dress I ended up wearing to the wedding, but I did use them for the wedding brunch the following day paired with a white eyelet sheath dress & pink suede kitten heel slingbacks from my closet. Kept the wedding bling thing going just a bit longer.

I rented this as my back-up dress, but when I saw the goddess dress I ordered as my first choice I changed my mind. The dress is more purple than royal blue which it appears to be in the photo, but since either color works for me this was not a problem. The fabric is stretchy, but very high quality with a luscious feel and a great swingy drape. This dress makes much more of an impact than you'd think from the photo.

The fabric on this dress is whatbmakes it so special. The lace is very thick, fine quality, and the tailoring is first rate. Even if you have several LBDs in your closet, this one is very special when you neednsomething classic. In wore it two times on an opera weekend in San Francisco. To the evening performance I added the RTR multiple-strand pearls with my own Stuart Weitzman red patent high heel pumps, super sheer stockings, and a Chinese red and black silk evening bag (The opera was Nixon in China!). The next afternoon I wore the same dress to the matinee (Attila) with Alexis Bittar hoops, no necklace, bare legs, and black open toe sling back high-heeled sandals plus an edgy wristlet purse. I got several compliments from strangers about how flattering the dress was as to cut and style for someone who is curvy, but well-proportioned. I will definitely rent again, if not try to find & buy the dress!

I am very true to size, but this dress didn't fit in either size. The zipper stuck and was impossible to pull up, and the waist ran small. If you run true to size and have a small waist, go for it! Otherwise, have a second option ready.
