From the picture hopefully you can tell I was at a candy themed gala (that's Augustus Gloop standing next up me!) I was looking for a black gown to go with my candy hat I had crafted and this was not my first choice, but it worked out all the same. The material is very comfortable and sort of slinks on the body-def recommend having some spanx ready. The neckline was not as high as it looks on the model, which I thought was a fun design element, but I still give this dress 4 stars. It's an easy to wear black formal dress that is perfect if you are looking to keep it simple and elegant-or if you're like me and are working with some crazy accessories ;)

Would totally rent this dress again. I wore it to a cocktail party during a wedding weekend. This dress was sort of (dare I say) sexy without being too showy/flashy. I'm only 5'5" so I was worried that the 8L (only size available) would be too long, but with some 3.5 inch platforms I was fine. I even had some girls yell at me from across the street while out that night "Hey girrrrl! I love your dress!!!" Of course I shouted back "Rent The Runway!!" What a moment, hahaha. Now I just need to figure out where I can buy this one...

Sorry for the blurry pic ladies, best one I had of the full length. I was worried about the 8 fitting up top, but I was held in just fine. I rented this dress to wear to Easter brunch-had the best white blazer that I planned to wear with it too...If you notice that I'm taking a selfie in a dressing room and not at my super snazzy brunch-it's because the dress came in and it absolutely swallowed me, the waist line was so big and belting it just looked off. It was too late to return by the time I got to where we were staying (traveled out of town for the weekend) so I figured I might as well wear it for the day to run some errands aka finding something else to wear. I still give this dress 4 stars because I LOVE CH, the price was incredible and the quality was there, just the complete wrong size. I wish other people would have reviewed it so I would have known. I had an 8, would have worked with a 4. Super cute, just order 2 sizes down-not kidding!
