Sexy but classy cocktail dress

I really loved this little red dress! Would buy it. I'm short and the length was just right to keep it classy when sitting. Does require either wearing a sticky bra or going bra-less. I opted for the sticky bra to give the front a little more shape, as the dress material is chiffon and has no built-in structure. However, I did have to doctor the halter strap a bit and overlap the two ends and secure with a pin behind my neck. Otherwise it was waaaaay too loose/droopy on top. Yanking up the straps help eliminate some of that gap. Overall. I would say this dress might be best for straight or hourglass figures and probably good for chest-ier gals. Bodice might be too loose on flatter tops.

Pretty but some fit issues

The gown itself was very pretty on the hanger. Material was thicker but it would work for most seasons, given the cut. The color is a white background with a reddish-pink overlay. Some have said it was a true red, but I disagree...more of a softer red with pink tones. I actually liked this rather well when I put it on, but then when I took pictures of it, it looked less flattering. The back straps kinda bulged/were loose (I'm short, so maybe this is better if you're tall) and it felt like you needed to have a super fit back to maximize the look. I would say that the front of the gown is thick enough to go bra-free, or go with a sticky bra for more shaping. This had been a back up gown anyhow, so I did not wear it to my event. That said, if it had been the only gown I'd rented, I'd probably be happy enough to make it work!

A flattering floral gown, perfect for a summer wedding

This dress fit perfectly off the hanger without doctoring (which almost never happens for me when using RtR). I received many compliments on the look. Very flattering and a good length for a shorter person who does not want to risk a too-long hem or having to wear 5" heels to make the dress work. I never go bra-free, but this bodice is actually very structured and supportive, so I went without for a smoother line. No issues with slippage!

Well-made and luxe dress for wedding brunch

So many women have rented this dress for a wedding-related event and there is a good reason why...it's very cute, flattering, and swishes around in a fun way. The material is a thicker patterned/textured brocade, but probably could be worn any season. Felt sturdy and well-made. I accessorized with a silver belt to give the waist some definition. I more often wear a size 6 dress (on RTR and in real life too) but the size 8 fit perfectly on this, so I would say if you're between sizes order up, especially if you have a C/D+ chest. I would also use the word "demure" to describe this dress...as in, it's not a "sexy" dress but very charming for a shower or a wedding breakfast. Received many compliments.

Cute Little White Dress for Bachelorette Night

This was a last minute "cheap" add to my order that I thought might work as a back up but wound up being a super cute LWD for a bachelorette evening. I am 5'2" and it hit mid- to-low thigh...so it was a little sassy but I didn't worry I was going to flash anyone. Medium fit great for my size. Color-wise, it's slightly creamy, not stark white, and the silver detail is shimmery but not glaring. Dress does not have the bottom silver band that the model picture shows, but that is not a big deal.

Classy, sleek dress for wedding rehearsal

I am so glad I decided to add this dress to my shopping cart! It was very sleek and I felt great wearing it for my wedding rehearsal. Received many compliments on it. I am 5'2" and it hit below the knee, which sometimes can be a frumpy cut, but since it was otherwise fairly tailored it looked great with heels. I was able to wear a strapless bra with this, but did wear seamless thigh-length undies since the fabric does show every line underneath. Also did a little temporary pinning under the arm pits to cinch in the bust a bit (I think the bodice is meant for a taller torso, so for a shortie it needed a little help). Was very happy with this dress and would recommend!

Tight on top for women with broader shoulders or larger chests

This was a second style that I had tacked onto my order. The waist and skirt fit OK but the bodice was SO tight. My husband could not help get it zipped up. If I had sized up the bottom would have been too loose. Too bad, because it is cute. Good luck to narrower women. ;)

Cute dress with a little MacGyver-ing required!

I ordered this dress for a night out and, overall, was really happy with it. When I first tried it on, I was skeptical that it was going to work. Although it was mainly true to size, the neck strap and torso is clearly structured for a taller woman (or someone with a longer torso). It would have hung very low (side boob ahoy!) if I had worn the neck clasped as intended. Instead, I did what some other wearers' had done...overlapped the straps and safety pinned it around my neck. Also, I had to let go of the idea of a strapless bra underneath. None of the ones I had fell *perfectly* under the narrow back panel. Shockingly, it looked pretty good sans bra (fabric is thick and concealing) and I NEVER wing it in that department. Despite the fix ups, I would totally wear this dress again. It was flirty and cute. Skirt is on the shorter side (not in a bad way!) despite me being 5'2" , but that may have been partially because I had to pull it up around my neck.

Beautiful dress, just not for my body type.

This is such a classy, elegant gown and I had ordered it as a back up just to see how it looked. It fit fine in the chest and hips, but I felt it was not tailored in enough at the waist, resulting in loose fabric in the midsection. Truly I think it was just about body type. This would probably look stunning on a straighter body. If you have a narrower waist/hourglass, this may not be the dress for you.

Loved this gown! Va-va-voom!

Like a couple of other women on here, this gown would not have been one I'd pick for myself, but my stylist pulled it (Shout out to Rachel in Chicago!) and I thought, "Why not give it a try?" I'm so glad I branched out a bit, because this dress made me feel like a million bucks. Got a few compliments at the event as well...and don't we all want that?! :) High-quality construction and thicker fabric on the dress help to keep all one's curvy bits looking smooth. Easy to wear with a convertible bra, racer back-style. I wore 4.5" heels and the Regular length gown was still maybe 1.5-2" too long for my comfort in front (am 5'2"). The Petite length was sold out. To solve the issue, I discreetly safety pinned the front of the dress under a little bit to prevent stepping on the hem and face planting on the dance floor. Took a little time to pin, but a perfect fix. Highly recommend this gown!
