Vacation dress but heavy for beach
I rented this for a beach vacation, I didn’t think it was see through like others mentioned, but the fabric is heavy and a little warm for a swim coverup. I only wore it once as a result and it didn’t end up becoming the vacation dress I had imagined. Very casual and not ideal for a cooler evening or dinner at the beach etc.

unforgiving dress!
the chest is large but the waist is small, unfortunately neither the XL or XXL would fit me. I wish there was just a little stretch in the waist, but there isn't! Otherwise would have been really pretty. I tried to wear this while pregnant... so that definitely didn't work, but my non-pregnant very lean and tall friend tried it on too and it didn't fit her either. the proportions are just not right. You also need to be tall and wear tall high heels for this to fall properly.

silky material
pre-pregnancy size 10-12, rented this at 32 weeks: I loved this dress, received so many compliments. the smocking was perfect for pregnancy and extremely flattering. the material was shiny/silky, which I was not expected, but it ended up working well and was very pretty. The style makes it easy to wear for casual events, looked a little too casual for work.

unflattering
pre-pregnancy size 10-12, rented this at 32 weeks: very unflattering, size L was too big and made my size C-D boobs look terrible and smooshed. Maybe if I had sized down it would have been better.

runs large and is NOT casual
pre-pregnancy size 10, I am currently in my third trimester (33 weeks) so I sized up and got a size 12 - it was too big. there is a lot of stretch and extra material and it was longer on me than the model. Felt way too big, looked like i was swimming in it and it added like 20 pounds, very unflattering. For non-pregnant people: the material is thick and not cotton-y, so while i thought this dress would be perfect for a summer backyard bbq, I actually felt like a BRIDE. The material feels fancy. I felt very overdressed for anything casual and felt like it was impossible to wear. bottom line: I might wear this for something like a maternity photo shoot or bridal event, but you need to size down.

Very shiny satin - FORMAL dress
I rented this to wear on the weekend for brunch etc, however the material is extremely shiny - think satin pajamas shiny. I was unable to wear it because of the material as it was too formal for everyday. But it is pretty!! There is a lot of volume and fabric, I am 26 weeks pregnant and you couldn't see my belly. I am 5'4 and this was too long even with my highest heels. If I was going to a formal even and wanted yo hide my belly and could get it hemmed...it would have been great!

Perfect for any occasion
This can be dressed up or down (in a more casual day time setting) and is a luxuriously thick stretchy material. I loved this dress! It fits very nicely and I imagine can look good many different people.
