Such a lovely dress and I wanted to love it but it is definitely not for shorter people! The top would have been perfect if my torso was two inches longer. The pleating hung oddly because the torso was too long for me. Very nice for the right height!

Very big on top
It fit my hips & waist well but the shoulders were too broad and oversized. The belt is also sewn on in an awkward spot making it difficult to tie.

The dress is billowy to the point of being hard to walk in! Not for shorter people. The armholes were also tight so the dress was rubbing by the end of the day.

SO many compliments. Armholes a little big but I have that issue with most dresses and someone with a longer torso might not! The shape of the skirt is super sweet.

I wore this to my work's "golden" gala and was stopped over and over by compliments! It was surprisingly light for a sequin gown and not itchy at all. Rent!

Sweet little shift
Overall understated, really the only thing that sets it apart from any black shift dress is the subtle scallop. Got a few compliments but overall a very standard outfit.

Odd stitching
I wanted to love it! I ordered it for a wedding event and I typically LOVE Black Halo but while the dress fit well enough, the stitching on the chest lay really awkwardly. Maybe it was just my body type and shape but seems like they are poorly placed! Couldn't end up wearing for that reason.

It fit nicely and has adjustable straps which is nice. The fabric is lined with a thick cotton so it was pretty hot! Not great for 97 degree weather but probably very nice in cooler summer days.
