Tie dye is definitively the new spring trend. This is really cute -but didn't wow me. Material is eh. My boyfriend asked me if I made it...I thought it ran small. I am usually a XS/S and would have gotten a S Instead.

A dress you can rely on
This dress is soooo comfy. I sized up & I'm glad I did. But, a smaller size would have fit too. Just note it's sheer you will need a slip.

Comfy but large
This dress runs large like most Tory. If you want a comfortable work dress - rent this. But, it won't be super flattering. The underarms are so large. It's a drawstring though, so you can save it by tying it tight. Pretty pattern.

Highly recommend you rent this dress -- I am 5'4 and the 0R fit perfectly. It is very well made with a modern design (looks like a skirt and top). Two things to note: it is not forgiving in the underarm sweat department lol & it can be unflattering if you're tummy conscious

This is a very different and fun dress. I am normally a 0/2 and a size 0 was snug. I had trouble sitting in it. I agree the chest area is tight. Overall, lots of compliments & you will stand out.

I rented this for a wedding. I went with a different one, but my boyfriends jaw dropped when I tried it on. Cool back - you can still wear a normal bra. It is low! I would have used fashion tape. Comfy.

I tried to wear this to work, but it didn't quite go. This is a fabulous dress to wear around the city or a comfy day. I had trouble matching shoes to it. Chose grey...but I would probably rent again in the spring to wear with crisp white shoes and a jean jacket.

I seriously loved this dress. Simple, comfy, and the collar makes it. I only wish my collar was not missing 75% of the little beads. It's what makes the dress a hit! Sad, but if it was in good shape I would say a top rental. For reference I am a 0/2 and ordered the 1.

This is a very versatile sweater - I wore with spanx leggings and a tank & made it a sweater dress for work. But, you can easily dress down. I will say - even though I am in the middle of a Chicago winter, it was SO warm. I was sweating. The wool was a bit itchy. This can probably be avoided by wearing long sleeves underneath.

Confusing
This dress manages to run both small and big at the same time. Air holes were way to big (XS), but the dress was soooo short (5'4). I planned to wear with tights and there was no way that was happening. I wore it for my boyfriend and he asked if it was a shirt.

I love Scotch and Soda - but this was a miss. A few things to note: Runs small! I am a size 0/2 and XS was way too small. Like other reviews say, the buttons do gap A LOT. I wanted to make it work, but I couldn't with how much it showed.

Pretty, but more for spring
I rented this in October - it ended up being too thin. I am a 0/2 and I felt the 0 was way too small. Short arm length and just felt constricted in the bust. I would size up -- it's a beautiful print/fabric, but very thin. Just to keep in mind if wearing in colder weather. It looked silly with tights on me. So it was bare legs or nothing. I ended up returning without wearing.

I rented this for work with the expectation that I was going to wear a long sleeve under it. Nope - looked awkward. So, expect a low cut. It's long - almost too long for 5'4 body. I am a 0/2 and the 2R was best. 0 would have been too tight. I didn't end up wearing this - which bummed me out.

Cute, but sizing is a bit off.
Very flattering and comfy for work. I loved the collar. My only compliant is the sleeve length. It's so awkwardly short. Not 3/4 length, but not long. It drove me nuts all day. This may be specific to my fit, but just something to note. I am 5'4 - 0/2 and the XS was the right choice.

So cozy for fall. I never wear RTR twice & reworn this one. It has a tie on the inside so I was able to wear with tights on casual Friday. The tie helps it stay wrapped shut. It is heavy -- just keep in mind. I was swimming in an XS, but it still worked.

Tory is one of the most consistent designers on RTR - this can be worn to work, date night, happy hour, anything. I am a 0/2 and the XS fit with room. The pattern is very pretty & I received a lot of compliments. It's on the thicker side. The top buttons close with no chest gaping.

I am 5'4 and typically a 0/2 - and wow this is a large unflattering dress. I can't imagine a belt would help due to where the waist seem is. Maybe a leather jacket? I am all for comfy dresses, but I couldn't make this work even with heels and jewelry. It felt like a nightgown. But, if that's what you are looking for by all means! This one just made me sad...

I love Scotch and Soda - and this lived up to their funky style. The fit was TTS - I am a 0/2 and ordered an XS. Collar added very cute detail. A few things to note: the shimmer is a bit much for work. It seem much more tame in the photo. And the color + ribbed look made this dress truly unforgiving. Even on a slim figure. Overall: Rent for drinks/happy hour and wear Spanx.

I am between a 0/2 and rented an XS - I would have probably enjoyed the S better. I am 5'4 and it was too short for work so I wore with tights. Watch out because it's sheer & the buttons along the dress gape a lot - I didn't feel comfortable at work and was worried all day. I think it's best for everyday or casual wear. Fun bright bold pattern. I know it's a "shirt-dress", but this one was more shirt than dress.

This dress is very Scotch and Soda - funky! It's breathable and feels expensive. My only thought is the chest. the snap makes it not super low cut, but then there is a gaping hole. I used fashion tape -- but who wants to always be macgyvering these designer dresses! I would recommend wearing a bralette for work (less push up to expose your chest) or rent this for a night out/date where you want to show more skin. I am a 0/2 and the XS worked with room.

This dress is more of a shirt & it's very sheer. Even with a slip I was not able to wear it to work. I am typically a size 0 and sized up to a 2 -- still too small. Beautiful dress and/or shirt though. I would suggest styling this by sizing down and wearing with leather leggings instead of drying to force it as a dress.

Fun dress - I wore this to work and received a lot of compliments. It's funky! I was not quite sure what exactly the design was at first. The highest part of the slit/bottom pleat does come up pretty high. I am 5'4 & it was just appropriate for work. This dress is a thicker material - feels expensive.
