This dress, although beautiful, is very unforgiving. I luckily ordered the 18 as my backup size because the 16 was definitely not fitting. Loved the pockets and the cut of the dress, very flattering to hide tummies of all shapes and sizes. I also loved the long sleeves and length of the skirt. Luckily, the wedding I wore it too was in January because it was a little toasty in the dress, so beware if renting for a summer event. I received many compliments and also loved the quality of the dress! Overall very impressed with this piece, and the color was absolutely beautiful and even better in person!

I ended up not wearing this dress, but it was sent as a backup when the other dress I ordered wasn't as flattering as I had imagined. This dress hides the stomach surprisingly well, and the mermaid tail is just beautiful. The 16 fit perfectly and the 18 was definitely too big. The only problem is with the dress I received there was a hole where sequins were missing right on the chest, and it was noticeable enough to prevent me from making it my first choice. Also, I wanted something a little more low cut, but if I had a more professional gala to attend I think this would be perfect. Additionally, I am only 5'3" and the length was perfect with a modest pair of heels or even with flats.

This dress is wonderful for someone with a pear shaped body. It hides the tummy nicely while accentuating the assets up top. I ended up going with a different dress because I felt as though this was too similar to a dress I wore last year to the same event, but love love love this dress! It was a bit long, even with heels, so I would re-order in the petite if I had to order again. Also, matching shoes with this dress was very difficult!

This dress is wonderful! I carry my weight in my tummy but the way this is fit hides it quite nicely! (Along with some spanx, of course ;)) The 16 fit perfectly up top and through the waist, and the backup 18 felt like it was 2 sizes too big. I am only 5'3" and the dress hit so that you could still see my shoes, which was nice.
