I thought this dress was classic! I sized up one size which worked out great. I was worried about the length since I'm 5'2" but the slit is high enough that it was the perfect length. The fabric is a little heavier.

Wish I could buy this top! I wore it several times while I had it. I paired it with jeans, with capris for dinner on vacation, and black dressy pants for work. The slits on the sides are a little airy however it worked great for warm weather. I wore it to work one day and wore a black cami underneath and it was business casual-appropriate.

I didn't end up wearing this dress. There was nothing particularly wrong with it, it just didn't fit me well. The sleeves are very long (and I have long arms for my frame) and the fabric was more casual than I anticipated. Luckily, I was renting it just to wear to work through my unlimited subscription and was not planning to wear it for an event. If you are really tall, I would avoid this dress if you are looking for a hem that's work appropriate. I am 5' 2'' and it was just the right length without being too short.

I so wanted to love this dress from the pictures online, but I was surprised at how heavy the embroidery and fabric are when it arrived and did not end up wearing it. The weight of the dress itself was surprising. I recommend not choosing this dress to wear on a warm day/outdoor event. I did try it on and it fit true to size (maybe slightly larger, but I would still order your usual size), however the sleeves were very itchy during the few minutes I wore it. It is a little "grandma-y" in the sense that it's very floral/embroidery heavy/modest, which is great for an event that calls for that type of attire. However, beware of the itchy sleeves!!

The dress fit great. I could've worn the small but the sides were a little looser so I wore the XS. I was a little uncomfortable going bra-less but the fabric is really thick so it wasn't too much of a problem. It was a fun dress to wear and I loved the pockets!
