This dress was a beautiful style and color- perfect for a very conservative wedding I attended. However, the zipper was a nightmare. You definitely cannot zip it up on your own. At first, I thought it was just too small of a size. I tried on the larger size and that one had the same issue. My husband and a friend had to zip me into the smaller size, which was tight in the rib cage at first ( I am a 38DDD) but the dress for beautifully after everything was in place and I received endless compliments all night

I am normally a size 10 but I read other reviews that said the dress had no "give" (which is true) and is a bit tight in the bust. Well, I am a 38DDD and can say that I am glad I ordered the backup size because it felt so much more comfortable to go up a size. I love the color of this dress and the pockets!

I ordered the Large and as a backup ordered the XL because formal dresses usually run small on me...and I have a 38 DDD chest. The large was perfect! In fact, I tried on the XL first and it slipped right on- I didn't even know it had a zipper. Too big. The large fit great and was a bit shorter which was nice. The dress is very flattering in the tummy area because of how the fabric gathers. It wasn't itchy as some sequin dresses tend to be. Everyone loved it. Be prepared to stand out from the crowd!
