I had a star-studded and very formal Lunar New Year event to attend and needed a red dress that was both simple ( my hair and accessories were already very elaborate), classically elegant yet modern. This beautiful dress sums that up. I did not need a bra to wear with this as the dress material was thick enough, but if you need support , i suggest one of those stick on bras ,as bra straps showing is a no-no. I also found thanks to the flattering peplum, no shapewear is needed. This is a "Valentino red' i.e. the red runs bright and reads warm on the color palette. The slit goes up really high when you sit, so I suggest boycut nude or black underwear if you dont feel like accidentally flashing anyone. A stunning dress all in all.
