My second option for an outdoor wedding and reception.
I tried to make this work with fashion tape and pinning on my postpartum/nursing body, but ultimately I went with a different dress. I am 5'3 and the shoulders on the dress were way too long, so the bust and waist weren't in the right place. The length was also awkward and made me look bigger than I am. The fabric is very light and there is lots of room in the bust. With some altering, I would really like this dress; but, obviously you can't alter a rental. I think it would have worked fine if I were 5'6!

Worn to an outdoor evening wedding and reception in Palm Desert in September.
I needed a dress for an outdoor Palm Desert (HOT!) wedding that would be kind to my postpartum/nursing mom body and this was perfect. There was enough room in the bust that I could actually zip the dress and still breathe and the boning in the waist helped with shaping. The fabric was light and despite it being 100 degrees at 9 pm at the outdoor reception I still felt somewhat comfortable. I was very happy with the dress!
