Horrible fit!

I am 5'9" and 160 lbs now 8 months pregnant, and I wear a small in maternity stuff. I ordered the recommended size 4 and wow was the fit BAD. I've never had maternity clothes that could not cover my belly properly, but this dress barely wrapped far enough to close. Up top, it was a vast gaping gape wasteland. So much extra fabric and volume that no amount of tape could fix it, with a 34 C pregnant bust. Too big and too small= bad cut bad fit.

Short arms

Back fluffs and sticks out but that's fun. Arms are incredibly short. Wash is classic.

no stretch; runs very small; great wash/color

I tried 3 pairs of skinny maternity jeans in a size 28. 2/3 (DL1961, Seven) were one or two sizes too big (I'm 5'9" 150 lbs at 6 months pregnant) and this pair was the opposite: at least 2 sizes too small. The fabric content might be the biggest difference: these have almost double the cotton at 98%, which is not stretchy. Nevertheless, they tell you to order your normal size in maternity jeans so a 28 should be a 28, and it's on Citizen to figure out how to do that with 98% cotton.

A little large but nice quality

Pros: nicer, thicker fabric and ok length (I'm 5'9" with 34" inseam) Cons: a bit on the large side (I'm 150 lbs at 6 months pregnant). I would try 27 next time for sure. I notice that a lot with pregnancy jeans: they tell you to grab your regular size- for me that's 26 in stretchy skinny jeans- but that's always too small for maternity so it's more of a guessing game for me. I think part of this is due to fabric content, since most of this type of denim has very little cotton in it.
