I have wider hips so I am used to sizing up to a 10 but this dress was fine through the hip. Very flattering shape, I think it made my waist look smaller because of the diagonals and waist ribbon. Great fabric and color. I am 5'8" and I wore the regular with platform heels and the dress touched the floor. Also the ruffle placement helped hide underware lines.

It would be very hard to wear a bra with this dress but luckily between the waist and foam cups its like it has a built in bra. 8R was very long. with high heels it was almost too long and I am 5'8"+

It wasnt the right color for the bridesmaids so I couldnt wear it. But I did try it on. Its a very interesting construction but very hard to move your thighs so not good for an event with dancing. I dont normally wear dresses this tight so I am not sure if it ran small or just not how I like to wear clothes. The fabric is kind of thick so better for underwear lines.
