You can really dress this dress up or down- perfect for the event I attended.
I am almost 5'10"- in an ideal world I wish this dress was an inch longer because I felt it then hit that weird "in between" place just above my knee, where it would've looked perfect if it fell to the bottom of my kneecap or even then a few inches above my knee... However, overall I was very happy.

I wore this to a wedding with a relatively plain sheath and it gave the detail it needed.
The back is adjustable so you can make it tighter-shorter/looser-longer as needed. The side metal pieces/beading would occasionally fold under the front detail but otherwise stayed in place.
