Running big
I'm usually a 2 or 4 but after reading the reviews I decided to order size 2 and size 0 as a back up. The dress is stunning with pretty lace details. However it's running big on me even the size 0 especially around the waist. I had to use the safety pin to make it slightly tighter but it wasn't ideal. Overall I'm satisfied with how I look with the dress but I wish it can be more fitted.

The dress is stunning and fits me perfectly!! The only issue I have is the straps are too long. I had to use safety pin to shorten them.

The dress is beautiful and color is fabulous. The only thing I have problem is the fabric. It's more suited for spring/ summer events.

Perfect fit !!!
Browsing through thousands of dresses on RTR, this one might not stands out as other dresses just because it's a very simple black dress with a little bit mermaid shape. I ordered it first online and went to the NYC flagship store to try on. Once I put on, I knew this is the dress I want to wear and fit me perfectly. No crazy design, but it shapes your body surprisingly. You will never go wrong with it.

Last minute swap !!! Thank god it all worked out !
I initially ordered a different dress with 2 sizes but the dress for whatever reason seemed running big on me. 4 hours before the wedding I was about to attending, I ran to the rent the runway flagship in NYC asking for last-minute help. The store did not carry full collection as online. The options are really limited in terms of styles and sizes. But the stylist was really helpful. We found this dress that has my size and suits for the black tie wedding. This fabric has no stretch at all. For me, the bottom part was tight but the upper part was loose. The stylist recommended me to temp stitch the straps of the dress so that it fits me well which it did at the end. I'm very happy with it !

The color is stunning!!!
I was having a engagement photo shoot at the top of rock. The color undoubtedly was outstanding and shining like a star. But the size was running way tooooo big so that I looked puffy especially around the waist. I usually wear size 4. I still felt loose even I was wearing the size 2.
