I took a gamble on getting the small because it's all that was available even though I know that normally a small blazer would not work for me. However it looked very oversized so I thought that the small might work. It was definitely great all around but the arms as he might be able to tell in the photo or very tight and made it pretty uncomfortable to wear. I knew this going into it but just be sure you know that the blazer has very high slit up the side.

You would think it would be kind of plain but I loved it. It's actually so detailed with the expert tailoring I can expect from this brand. One of the few times I think it looks cuter on me than the model. Wore w olive green tights, it did ride up sometimes when I also had my coat on. Lots of compliments- easy to wear all day. 38 was perfect size for me, looked slim but not tight and no gaping for my larger chest. Would rent Again esp when I can go without tights.

I am 34DD And a solid medium up top and this was big - it was embarrassing as a work shirt. Didn't need a camisole as the weight was right and the sleeves were cute but it was way too loose and Boxy even though tips are basically never large on me bc of my bust. Disappointed.

I thought this would be so cute. However because of the placement of the buttons and the fact that probably most people will need to leave many of the buttons undone it made me wider at the place where I don't want to be wider a.k.a. around my waist. This winter has been really gray and cold in Minnesota… This came just in time for a short quasi-warmer spell a.k.a. high 20s and lower 30s. With a chunky sweater there is plenty of room and it'll keep you warm in that kind of weather. Obviously it's not gonna be for the deep freeze. I rented the size 8 for work I teach college and I thought this looked super professional for a special event. However not only was it extremely short I got it around my butt but it really wouldn't zip up in the upper part of my chest area - it was very small around the chest. If I had been a size a or B cup it might have zipped up but in any case even though I'm only 5'3" it was still pretty short for work. Really lovely though so maybe for a true petite this would be ok.

Only drawback was this bright red color when my skin hasn't seen the sun in two months was not flattering - that said the color was a lovely bold red so I would rent again in summer when I have a tan.

Size down. Small was plenty big on me. Felt like it was a little too hugging on my butt for work (I teach so have to have my back to the class a bit when I wrote on board, I always get self conscious). This is a perfect work dress. I have gained a little weight in my stomach lately after sitting around and writing my dissertation. Therefore I don't feel as confident in it right now because I have a bit of a stomach pooch. I wore some compression underwear and that helps otherwise I might not of wanted to wear it at this moment. I wish I could justify buying it. I have my interview season coming up from November to February and hopefully by then I will have slimmed down slightly and will feel even more confident wearing this. It really looks beautiful on me and size 8 in theory is exactly what I need. If I wore this with the matching blazer I see no reason I would not be hired immediately!

Usually Derek lam works well for me - I'm always size 8 in their blazers. This was an utter fail. Sized up and it felt like it rode up so much - walked two blocks to my local bar in this and felt so weird. Was glad to get home and send it right back. If you have hips or a butt it prob won't work.

I never order a L but glad I did for this. I wore no bra, 36D, and I didn't have much of a prob. Chest looked great. Straps were long - on their shortest setting I was adjusting them or nervous they would slip down (like if I put my purse on shoulder.). It did feel like it rode up a little as I walked but over all a fun summer piece for a warm day. Length was great.

Says oversized so I sized down. However- it really just means wide shoulders, because it is actually a very trim and slim fit. So the shoulders (light padded) stick out a little bit, and it was slim and sung in the arms for me though length was perfect as I am fairly short all around. I would not be able to wear a long sleeve shirt under this without sizing up. The six fit but might have been more comfortable in an 8. Gorgeous quality and color. Doesn't have a button to close but rather a little metal hook in the front.
