Such great quality. Two layers, pockets, quality material. I loved the subtle v neck with rough edges. I’m 5’2, athletic build and the length was a perfect maxi (no where near dragging either). I chose the s over the xs for a looser fit across my chest (34C). Straps are adjustable!

I rented this for a formal (black tie or fancy cocktail), winter wedding but ended up wearing the other dress (mostly for the holiday/NYE feel of the other one). I ordered the SR for backup but would have worn XSR (for the length and less drowning effect for my petite stature). The sleeves are tight(er), I wouldn’t have been able to lift my arms completely over my head, otherwise mobility was fine in front of me (I have more athletic-like than thin arms). The picture attached was taken with 3 inch heels on, I wouldn’t have been able to wear anything shorter at my height. The front of the dress was quite plain, the back was really beautiful with the really long tie. The material is stiffer, it doesn’t flow down - if my arms were not hanging down, the dress does triangle out (hard to describe?). The pockets were a GREAT size. It would have felt a little too formal for what others wore to the wedding. A small side note, my sister and I used to compete in choral quartets and it felt A LOT like the dresses we had to wear for those. A friend also commented it looked like a caroling dress. I still really liked it and would say it’s a classic if this is the look you’re going for. The back really is beautiful.

Used for formal (cocktail or black tie) winter wedding. Quilted velvet, deep red color. The size was pretty good. I am an overpacker so wanted to fit phone, small card wallet, a few pieces of fashion tape, key fab, and lipstick. It was tight and the top didn’t quite magnet shut but it was close enough and nothing fell out (the opening at the top is narrower than the clutch). With the texture, you couldn’t tell it was packed full. Would recommend!

True to size fit, hugs the perfect amount but not too much. I would have normally ordered a size XS (wasn’t available) but was very happy with the S. A little give to it too. The dots feel like the equivalence of tiny puffy paint dots and do not give off a shine like some of the reviews state, but do add great texture. The dress came down to about an inch above my ankles without heels. You cannot see the slit in this picture angle but it is higher — came up to just about or right below mid thigh… I did have to adjust when first sitting down. The square neck is wide - I used (for personal comfort) a couple pieces of fashion tape to minimize any gaps but it wouldn’t be necessary if you don’t mind. I wore this for a formal (black tie or cocktail attire) winter wedding and felt great. No issues with sleeves feeling tight and I do have more petite + athletic build overall. I do recommend!
