Rented the 10 and 12. Thought I would need long but now having rented it I would say that even though I'm 5'10 the long was a bit long with high sandals. The 10L was not available to be shipped so I wore the 12L despite being quite big. The dress is pretty voluminous and definitely perfect for formal affairs.

Loved this dress-- wore it out for my 30th birthday. The fit is perfect- it hits your waist in the right spot to really cinch and give the illusion of a small waist. Only downside to this dress is its length- I'm 5'10" and it right at the top of my knees. Shorter women may find it too long.

I ordered both the 10L and the 12L in this dress. I couldn't get the 10 even close to zippering. The 12 fit but was a bit snug in the chest-- whether that's due to my chest or the dress I am not sure! It was a cute dress but my heels did catch on the back of the dress. There were some loose strings but nothing too obvious.

I wore the 10L, which was a little short on me. The 10L fit in the body better than the 12L did but the 12L had a better length for me. Ultimately I decided to go with the 10L. The dress is gorgeous, the material is forgiving and I didn't have to worry about wearing Spanx/control top undergarments to smooth me up. I was able to wear regular undergarments and look fine! Loved the dress, would highly recommend for a formal event.
