Wonderful for dancing!
This was a back up dress for me that RTR had to help me get on the fly after a different dress was returned damaged. I am so glad I ended up with this dress instead! I was a little bit worried because reviews had labeled it as running small. I received a 2 and a 4 and ended up going with the 2. It is a dress that is absolutely designed for a defined waist. Best for hourglass shape, an athletic body type or a pear shape with a high defined waist. The area where it is most fitted was directly under my rib cage and while snug, was not uncomfortable. It was extremely flattering. The neckline does dip low, and it was tight on my chest and I don't have very large breasts. I wouldn't recommend for someone with larger than C cup probably, but that is just my feeling. The top is fitted and flattering. The skirt is very full, and potentially could add some unwanted volume, but for me it was playful and fun and great for twirling on the dance floor! The fun detail is that the zipper in the back is top to bottom. The fabric was heavier, combined with the color made it a smash for a winter wedding. Definitely would rent this dress again, sad that I don't have it in my own closet.

It was a great dress for my brothers work party
The dress definitely is large. I would recommend getting a size smaller than you normally do. Also the lace overlay warrants consideration for any jewelry you are wearing. Classy looking, comfortable and easy for a party where you may dance!

This dress came as a back up for a wedding when the dress I rented was not available. It is HIGHLIGHTER pink, nothing like the salmon color pictured. It is also a very heavy spandex-like fabric that would be incredibly warm on a hot day. I did not wear it for the wedding I was going to as I did not feel it was formal enough and reminding me of a skater dress. Fun for a more laid back summer party.

This dress came as a back up when another dress I rented wasn't available. I was not a fan. The material reminded me of an antique sofa in texture and pattern, and it was very short. I am only 5'2'' and can normally get away with a shorter dress, but I felt as though just walking I might have a Britney moment! It is fairly light, and has a flattering fit and flare look to it. Could be cute for a cocktail party but definitely nothing very active.

This dress came as a back up for the Halston and Heritage watermelon dress, which was not available as it had been returned damaged. The dress was a sort of burnt orange, not as bright as in the photo. Also, the off the shoulder fit very awkwardly and would have been impossible for dancing at a wedding! The 6 was also too large in the skirt and waist for me. Overall, would not rent, but could see how it could be cute on some one perhaps a bit taller than me, at an event where you don't expect to move your arms much!

I didn't end up wearing this dress as it was a back-up and was not quite what I was looking for for a late summer outdoor wedding, but would absolutely rent it in the future for a formal cocktail party or work outing. It is very classy, comfortable and slimming.

Adorable dress with a hint of sexy!
I noted that other people have stated that this dress runs a bit small, but I found that it runs fairly true to size. I am generally anywhere from a 2-6 in dresses and I wore the size 4 in both this dress and the Ayla dress which I also rented. I had rented a Halston and Heritage dress which turned out not available and the dresses RTR sent me to replace it were nothing I would ever wear. I called and the stylist was AMAZING and spent about 45 minutes with me to find this dress and it was PERFECT for a late summer wedding. It is a bit short, so if you're taller keep that in mind if you will be doing any dancing. It was playful, sexy and comfortable and I loved it. Paired with some large earrings and a bangle as I didn't want to hide the more unique cut of the dress with a necklace. I'm thinking of buying this dress I loved it so much. HIGHLY recommend.
