The fit of this dress is snug, so with my hips I needed to use the small. Other than that, though, I love this dress and may rent it again sometime. It was the perfect formal and yet intimate dress that was exactly what I was looking for. Being 5'3" with a short torso I was grateful to find the dress came only just above my knees. I lived wearing this dress.

The fit is true to size because of a the inflexible chest seam, but is very big in the hip area and also a bit large in the chest. Other than this and RTR telling me days before the wedding that they couldn't give me the dress I ordered (the size 4), I LOVED this dress. It fit very nicely, has pockets! and the colors were unbelievably perfect for the wedding. I am 5'3" with a short torso so the dress came just above my knees (as I anticipated and was hoping for). The only other complaint I have is the smell. RTR has a new shipping bag that is much nicer however it comes with this horrible smell. I took it out of the bag immediately and put it outside for almost two whole days in a windy atmosphere and it still smelled. This was my only other let down but overall i was able to ask that they still send me my backup size (2) and they did-just wish I could have gotten some monetary apology for the anxiety that message caused and for only sending me one dress that thank God fit since I've been working out.
