Clunky
Such a stiff denim fabric that made it hard to keep the bows tied. Cute style but I don’t think denim is the best fabric for it. Did not wear.

Wrinkly, gapes, & see thru
This dress is so wrinkly, a paper-y material, and slightly see through somehow. I could see the bright color of my white underwear through it and my black bra. It also gapes in between the buttons when viewed from the side, which is unfortunate because I would have disregarded everything else if this didn’t happen. The gaping made it unwearable, especially for work which is what I got it for.

Cute & Unique
Here’s a cleaned-up version of your review, keeping the tone casual and natural: This dress runs true to size (a small is basically a size 4), but if you have a smaller chest, the top might be a little roomy. The top is stitched in a way where you can tell if you’re not filling it out. For me, there was just a little extra space in the bust—enough for me to notice but not enough to cause any wardrobe malfunctions. If you’re smaller than a 34C, just something to keep in mind. Also, if you have a wider or straighter waist, the midsection might feel a bit snug. I have an hourglass shape, and it fit me really well. As you can tell in the photos, it did show my bloating despite the pattern and sequins. Otherwise, it was the perfect dress for a daytime formal spring wedding. The construction felt high-end and the fabric definitely looked and felt fancy. I also loved the slit—it added a bit of movement and made walking around super easy.

GORGEOUS
This was one of the best formal wedding guest dresses I’ve ever worn—I’m honestly shocked it was a rental, and I’m forever a Staud fan because of it! The quality was amazing. None of the sparkles fell off or scratched me, and the dress was super well made but still really lightweight. Random people were complimenting me all night! Some reviews said it runs big, but I thought it fit just right. It’s a shift dress, so I expected it to be a little loose—which was perfect because I could be bloated in peace. It has a built-in corset/bra hook situation that helps keep it up and gives it some structure, so it doesn’t just hang or look too baggy. Only the size 4 was available at the time of rental (I’m usually a 34B/C, 26” waist, 5’3”), and I was hoping to try both the 2 and 4, but I took a chance—and I’m so glad I did! I usually bounce between a 2 and 4 depending on the brand, and lately I’ve gained a bit of weight and am always bloated, so this dress made me feel confident, cute, and comfy all night long!

Great for a winter date night!
Wore this for Valentine's Day dinner and it was great for the occasion! The color is a cool toned pink with grey/purplish/black stitching throughout (similar to Chanel-style tweed, but with a less noticeable pattern). The fabric is lightweight yet thick, making it better to wear during colder months. I'm 5'3", 117lbs, 34C busy and everything fit great for a jumpsuit! In the picture I'm wearing platform sandals, I'm assuming a few inches high. The fabric is forgiving in the thigh and butt area, not so much around the chest and waist. There was a little extra fabric that bunched up slightly on the sides, but nothing too noticeable or annoying. I'm used to off the shoulder apparel so the fabric around the arms wasn't constricting or annoying. Getting this thing on properly is a STRUGGLE though- definitely come back on here when you're putting this on to see how the straps should be folded. Overall, great purchase and glad I could rent! I wouldn't have bought this permanently just because it's not typically in my preferred color palette or fabric, but it's very classy yet trendy!

So sparkly and eye-catching!
I am wearing this to my school's fashion show for our 12th grade scene that was New Years Eve themed. The show is in 2 days, but I literally just opened the box and I love the dress!! I tried the size 0 and it fits fine! It's not as short as I've seen in other people's pictures, which is what I was worried about. It's longer than almost all other dresses I've worn but it's not too long that it looks ugly. It's like past mid thigh, but not too long. It's sooooo comfortable- there's a nice layer of black fabric between your body and the sequin fabric, so nothing uncomfortably scratches or anything. It's sooooooo sparkly and deff more gold than showed in other customers pictures. This pic is deff accurate as to how the dress color is in real life. It's so comfortable and effortless and amazing! Everyone get it! It is a little big around the tummy, and I have size 34C boobs and a size 2 or XS/Small body, and it's not too tight but it's still really flattering on my (and anyone's) body type.
