The puffiness on the sleeve takes this from being retro to dowdy
The fabric is heavy and luxe, and you feel like it is a true garment. The sleeves are a real tragedy, though, as they take are what takes the dress from being retro to something like what you would see in a community where every woman is wearing the same dress.
