Loved this little shift!
So bright & colorful! I absolutely loved this shift style dress! Top has a zipper, so it can be less open for work. The pattern is so summery & beach, perfect for SoCal.

Warning, the dress I received did not have a belt. That said, I just added my own. Dress was incredibly comfortable and the pattern is lovely. Fit is loose, thus the needing the belt.

Waist is really small.
The waist on this dress was small... I sized up and still couldn't wear it. Because of the buttons, if you aren't tiny in that area, the skirt gaps.

This is beautiful!
Absolutely love the fabric! And the fabric is this soft silky material, a lot lighter than the other Mara Hoffman dress with the stars on it. I will definitely be renting this again.

This was gorgeous!
The back is stunning! Like other reviews said, it's flowy and has plenty of room, but it's a bit tight around the bust/shoulders, so while it's tempting to size down, go with your regular size. I wore this with shorts, jeans, maxi skirt. It looked great with everything!

Size up for curvy girl. The top fit fine, but it was too narrow in the hips for me. Wouldn't be a problem except the buttons gap and it looks awkward.

Gorgeous pattern!
Loved the pattern/fabric on this dress!! Gorgeous! The fit is loose, I probably could have sized down, but it still looked really nice & polished on. I was hesitant to rent because it's hot here right now and the dress looks more suited for fall, however the fabric is light and you can easily roll the sleeves and leave the top unbuttoned for a more summery look.

I've rented the other Lily maxi available on RTR and loved it, so thought I would try this one. It fit oddly around my stomach and hips, big in the stomach, then it went in at the hips. It didn't work for me and I sent it back without wearing.

Easy breezy maxi!
I loved this dress, so easy to just throw on. I wore it to a girl's night, running errands, to work (with a jacket). It's so versatile! The only issue, which is always an issue with buttons and a bigger chest, was the top gapped just a little. Not a problem a pin couldn't easily fix though!

The fit was just awkward for me. I felt like the waist fit at a weird spot on my hips that made me look wider. If I pulled it up more to my natural waist, it was too short on bottom and too much fabric on top. I didn't end up wearing, sent it back right away. Might work better on someone less curvy.

I wanted to keep it!
The ONLY complaint I have about this dress is that the one that arrived was pretty worn. But it was so versatile I still considered buying it! I wore it pulled down on the shoulder for a date night and also with the shoulders up for work. Easy to dress down or up! Fit was true to size, but it's not meant to be incredibly fitted, it's more of a sheath-type style.

I didn't actually end up wearing this dress. It was a little too full/frilly for my taste. And just FYI, the top lace is not lined so you can see right through to undergarments! The fit though was true to size and it would be adorable for a different occasion.

Yah, the buttons wouldn't close. I guess go up a size? But then it would have been big everywhere else. Up a size with a belt is probably the only way you could do it. Fabric was cute, but I didn't wear it.

It's large!
Yah, it runs really large. I'm normally a 4, sometimes 6, and was still swimming in the extra small. If you are maybe a 6-8, the XS would probably work for you. However, if I pulled the shoulders up so it's not an off-the-shoulder, that helped a little with the oversize-ness in the bust area. Then I belted it and that helped contain some of the fabric below. It was actually pretty cute that way for a date night!

Beautiful, but unflattering...
The fabric is absolutely gorgeous and when I looked in the mirror, I loved it. However I hated how it looked in photos... it's very tight around the bust, but nowhere else. I thought it just looked like a sack on me... the fabric saves it though. I may rent again, but go up another size (I already went up one for the bust) and then belt it to deal with the amount of fabric.

Really cute top, but I shouldn't have sized up. I thought from the photos that it would be tighter in the bust, but it is very stretchy. I will probably try it again in a small. The gingham is very cute and girly, perfect for the weekend!

This top was beautiful! I managed to keep the straps in place by pinning it to actual bra straps... that seemed to work best. The fabric does NOT travel well... the silk was a wrinkled mess. I managed to get it steamed out by the shower for the most part, but just a warning!

Great dress for our anniversary date in Hollywood!
The silky material was perfect since it's a little hot in Hollywood this time of year. Wore this out to dinner and then to the Pantages to see Book of Mormon. I felt elegant & flirty. It was the perfect mix between formal and appropriate at a more casual restaurant. The print is really pretty in person! I would say it runs a little large, I am usually a size 4/6 and could have gotten away with the XS.

I didn't size down and it was still ok, just made it even more casual. Other reviewers are right though that the slip itself is tight! I couldn't figure out what to do with all the ties. There seemed to be little hook holes to put them in at the chest, but I couldn't make it work. Overall I liked the look though and would rent again in a smaller size.
