This dress was provided as an alternate. The dress is beautiful on the model and most of the other reviews. However, on me it looked Mormon churchyish. I have very broad shoulder and back, and this dress fit loose everywhere else but my arms and back. I would've needed a bigger size for my upper body and a small size for my lower body, but this is only because of my body type. It is a very simple dress and on the right body type would be perfect for any occasion. Also, I wanted to point out that the bottom front of the dress is made to be shorter than the back, so keep that in mind. My intentions was to wear sandals, because I was going to an outdoor wedding, but this dress kind of forces you to wear cute shoes, because your feel aren't hidden.

This dress was PERFECTION! Like other reviews the waist rub age part is a little tight, but worked wonders to give the perfect silhouette all night long! I went to a outdoor wedding and wanted a long dress so that I could wear sandals. I am 5"8, and wore a 12 regular, it grazed the floor perfectly. I have a small bust (b cup) but but my butt and thighs are decent sized. When I first tried on the dress, I noticed it was longer in the front than the back, but I figured it was because of my butt, I fixed that when I ironed/steamed it before wearing. I received a ton of compliments! It was lite and comfortable the all night long. I get hot really easily and I must say that in 80+ degree weather, I felt pretty good. At the wedding the meal was family style and a lot of comfort food. I ate a ton!!!! But the dress still looked perfect, even though I gee a little food baby underneath. This dress hid all my problem areas. The renting process was nice and convenient. I ordered 2 sizes 10 and 12, but the 10 wasn't available, but that's a good thing because it wouldn't of fit anyways. My recommendation is to get your true size and one size bigger. My true size was 12 for BCBG, and I got the 10 just incase it was too big, but for this dress had I gotten one size bigger, I probably would've preferred it a little more because I don't like super fitted clothes, I like breathing room, so hopefully that helps someone else. oh and for my height or taller, if you plan to wear heels, definitely go for the long!
