90's vibe
These did run large. I typically size-up to 14 in trousers to make sure there's room. But the size 12 was very big--I'll order a 10 next time. Very cute and comfortable. I liked the high waist and the belt detail --it actually makes you WANT to tuck in your top.

Love love love. Great for beach coverup or dressy night out.
I have been to distress a couple times now. I love that it can be worn for any occasion, just by changing my shoes. I've worn it to work, to the beach, and out to a dressy dinner. I have a very long torso and short legs. So the empire waist works really well for my shape. I'd highly recommend because I would likely rent again.

Very small and awkward fit.
I ordered a size bigger than normal to wear to work and have some space to move. But the bigger size was still very tight. This pieces actually two shirts some together. The inner white shirt is actually pretty cute with some roofing at the left side. But the outer shirt is purposely twisted around your body. So your sightseeing ends up going over your belly button. Wearing it feels like your shirt is twisted all day. Very strange.

This review is for the ladies with a long torso and shorter legs.
For ladies with a long torso and shorter legs, I would highly recommend this style. Normally I find dresses to be much smaller than are shown on the long legged models. However, the styles fit well and was long enough for work or wearing about town, but short enough to be flattering. This style would have fit true to size. However I ordered two sizes up so that I could wear with leggings and still have a comfy loose fit. I highly recommended this rental. And I will rent again, or possibly buy.

Review for ladies with long torso & short legs:
To the ladies with long torso and short legs: The dress is pretty short, so I'd recommend wearing with shorts or leggings underneath. I wore this to work with knee-length, black-denim shorts and turquoise high top wedge sneakers. I did roll the sleeves to make it feel less like wearing my boyfriend's oversized shirt and more like a trendy dress. I got a ton of compliments on the color and print. It's pretty casual, so best for weekends, casual work environments, or less-dressy afternoons/evenings. I forgot to take a photo, but it's supposed to be very oversized, so order your normal size and it should fit. Otherwise, if you want a more tailored look, you can size down 1-2 sizes and it will still work.

Overall the style was very comfortable and really cute. I have a long torso and short legs, so this was more of a pant than a crop. But I felt great End it was a lot of fun to wear.

Different but awesome
I love the fit in the high/low look of the shirt. I liked the fun and different wrap construction. The buttons in the front and the back made it very easy to take on and off. Overall, the fit is flattering, the colors are very feminine and lovely, and it's super fun and different to wear to work or every day.
