Too short, couldn't wear it.
This dress was too short and small. I ordered another dress by the same designer a few weeks ago in a L based on sizing and it was too big, so I sized down for this. It was too short on me so I couldn't wear it. The fabric wasn't as comfortable as the other Hutch dress I had.

I typically wear between a 10 and 12, but Tory Birch must run small because even the 12 was a bit snug, but still okay. Lots of compliments, great length for work, went well with lots of shoes.

I did not wear this dress, it was ridiculous how short it was!! Beware.
The top fit fine as expected for a medium, but this dress was impossibly short. I could tell before even putting it on it would be too short. Even if I'd gone with a size up I don't think it would be appropriate to wear out of the house. I had a friend (5' 6") try it on and you could basically see her cheeks. Fit like a long tunic.
