FYI, the matches are dark brown, not black, which makes it a little tough to figure out what shoes to wear. But it is super flattering and easy to wear. I recommend!

Not flattering on me
This was my backup dress. I thought I might actually like it better than the other one I rented, but it wasn't flattering on me. It was short waisted and emphasized the lower tummy. Also slightly more casual than expected.

It runs large, so would recommend sizing down even more than you think you need to. I'm normally a 4-6, but a 2 would have worked better than the 4 in my case. It was more sheer than expected, so I wore a slip underneath.

I normally wear a 4 and a 4 might have been better on me, but the 6 was available, so I wore that one and was really happy with it. It's a beautiful dress. Was a little low cut on me, so I had to pin up the straps, but once I did that, it worked great.

Weird fit
As others said, this dress has an odd fit. Loose around the waist, but tight at the upper thighs, and a little short on me. I wanted to love it an almost wore it anyway but ultimately decided not to.

Way too high waisted and sheer
The fabric is sheer and would need a slip, which I would have had to buy in a color that worked. Also, the waist hit at my ribs... not quite empire, not natural waist. Combined with the midi length, it made me look very short waisted and odd. Didn't wear it.

I loved the print and fit. I'm usually a small or medium but the medium was perfect for the loose fit I like. I wore three times and decided to buy it as the price was right, too. Only issue for me is the clasp at the top doesn't stay closed, but I don't mind it open.

I'm normally a small or medium and the medium was prefect, so I would say sizing up is a good idea if you're on the fence. Such a pretty, feminine, unique top!

Very sophisticated
Per the other reviews, I sized down two sizes, and the 0 was perfect. I normally wear a 4. I agree with what another reviewer said about not loving the exposed elastic in the front, but ultimately decided not to let it stop me from wearing it.

The quality was nice, but I could not wear this top. Too much volume in the wrong places for me. Lots of pleating in the shoulders leading into large billowy arms was like a football player/pirate gone wrong. :(
