Initially I was disappointed with this dress as I normally wear a 2 or a 4 (depending on the brand), and the 4 was really tight on my hips. However, it was passable and I still wore it, it just rode up a bit from time to time during dancing especially. I do worry the top would have been too big in a 6, as I am pear shaped. I was looking for a dress that would work for a black tie optional wedding, as I didn't want to go for a full length gown, but I wanted to look dressier than I typically do for a standard wedding. I felt like I fit in perfectly, and the dress was really elegant and of the moment!

wore this for my bridal shower. fit well, and was classy yet somewhat casual. It was on the short side, so I would recommend that any one tall should probably avoid it, as I am petite and it still felt short on me. The eyelet was more prominent than I originally thought, but I got a lot of compliments on it so overall it was a hit!

This was my backup dress as my first choice was a much louder and exciting metallicy dress, as this was for my bachelorette party. The dress was damaged and so RTR offered to send me this as a backup. I was concerned about it not being exciting enough, but it was really flattering, and hit in all the right places. I'm usually a 2 in mainstream stores (express, gap, jcrew, etc) and a 4 in designer, and the 4 fit me perfectly. it was comfortable for dancing and didn't ride up at all which was nice as well! overall I really loved it.

I rented this dress for a bachelorette party. It was very sexy, and while was short, was not too short as I am only 5'1". However, this dress is not super functional- while at dinner and walking around I felt great, but to dance I had to keep pulling the top up and pulling the bottom down as it was riding up, which was uncomfortable. I can usually wear a 4 in designer clothes and a 2 in bigger retail brands, so this felt somewhat true to size, but there was very little room to breathe. Lastly, the dress felt a little immature for a bachelorette party, might've been better for a high school or sorority function and a younger crowd.
