RTR is my go-to for formal events, but this year when I realized I’d be 7 months pregnant, I was a little worried. I used the Maternity filter on the app and found some gorgeous dresses, but no actual reviews or photos from expectant moms so it was a swing in the dark that my chosen dress would stretch to fit my (3rd baby so I show like I’m 9 months) belly. SUCCESS! This dress was incredibly comfortable, fit like a dream, and garnered a ton of compliments. The material is heavy, so good for a cold Colorado night in April, but I felt like it would be easy to overheat were it warmer. My pre-pregnancy size is an L, but I ended up wearing my backup size (XL) as the L couldn’t zip up over my chest. (Pre-pregnancy 36 DD, currently *much larger*) One note—the dress I received looked beautiful, but on closer inspection, had been worn quite a bit, as the clear plastic thread that holds the sequins down was coming a little loose under the arms where it rubs on the body of the dress. Totally inconspicuous, and I wouldn’t even mention it except a few times during the evening a loose thread would snag an errant sequin on my chest and I’d be stuck with my arm in an odd position. If you rent this dress and see the same issue I’d trim those threads with nail clippers before you head out. All in all, a GREAT dress for expectant moms! It’s sleek, sexy, and totally flattering.

I was very pleased with this dress--I was concerned that the neckline would be too revealing for a military event, but it was classy while still being flirty and fun. The dress was comfortable to wear for a formal dinner and easy to move in while dancing.

So this dress was overnighted to me after my original dress was a terrible fail for my body type in two different sizes. Due to this, I was only able to get the 8R, not the 8L, but the R was just right with 3" heels. It didn't *quite* go to the ground but I preferred it that way so I wouldn't trip. Loved the fit and how flattering the dress was--I'm a 36DD and wore this without a bra and was comfortable all night. It certainly doesn't accentuate the ladies like some other gowns, but I was at a military event so it was better to keep my bust line a little more conservative. The sequins do itch a little under the arms, but that's going to happen with any sequin dress by its very nature. Same goes with the zipper--yes it will be hard to zip, because again, sequins. Anyway, lovely gown, felt beautiful all night, got lots of complements, would recommend it to anyone. BIG shoutout to RTR--if you're (still) reading this and haven't ever used RTR--DO IT. Their customer service is FANTASTIC.

Oh, I wanted this dress to work! It was perfect for a formal/semi-formal event in Colorado in the wintertime. I read all the reviews and I saw that other full busted women had worn it, so I went for it. Ordered 8L and 10L--got an email two days before that the 10L would not be available so could I please select another style--no cost restriction. I still wanted this dress--and I was on the border of regular/long anyways, as I'm 5'7"--so I asked for the 10R. The dresses arrived, and NOPE. Couldn't even get the 8 zipped, it was smashing my chest so badly, plus my arms wouldn't fit in the sleeves! Put on the 10, and it was even worse! As it turns out, they'd sent a 6 by mistake so I was stuck with no dresses. BIG shoutout to RTR, though. After talking with Customer Service, I was overnight shipped two more dress styles at no cost , along with new jewelry in case my current selections didn't work with the new gowns. Love this company! Long story short--gave 3 stars b/c I love the look of the gown and it seemed to be in good shape & well constructed. But if you're busty (I'm actually 36 DD ) I'd avoid this dress!!

Absolutely loved this necklace. I received it (along with a gown that was all kinds of wrong for me and didn't fit) so RTR overnighted me two more gowns (<3 you, RTR!) This piece of jewelry still went perfectly with my back up gown, it was light-weight, but not light enough to feel cheap--just very comfortable to wear. It was in great condition and I would absolutely consider renting it again!
