Super cute in a mod way
I loved, loved, loved this dress, even if it was a touch on the short side for someone 40+. The stitch detailing (in bubble-gum pink) was awesome and highlighted my waist. I would have considered buying it if it weren't for the DVF price tag!

Not for anyone with a pooch
This dress did not at all feel tight on me, but when I looked in the mirror, the sheath part underneath the lace looked like a sausage casing. It revealed every pooch and bulge, so back it went in the bag. Unfortunate because it is a SUPER cute dress!

Very forgiving. A little too forgiving
I am a size 4-6 and this was so big that I could put it on without undoing the side zipper. I wore it once, and while certainly comfortable, it only accented my pear shape

very good dress for pear shape
The dress is made of a very heavy knit material, which is fairly forgiving, in my opinion. It has beautiful scallop detailing around the neck and arm holes. I will agree with some other reviewers that the skirt is very full, so if you order too big, it will make you look like a square-dancer!

Great, polished dress for work
I loved almost everything about this dress -- the silhouette, the material, the proportions -- but what held it back was the lining around the neck. Unfortunately, it was sort of permanently rolled over and, since it was black, looked bad against the pale pink neck. Otherwise, a perfect work dress.

Dress material was extremely thick, and it was well made. Neck detailing is beautiful. However, it is definitely for taller builds.
