Perfect for black tie event
I felt like this dress was made for me. The fabric was gorgeous and caught the light without being over the top. The regular length was great for me at 5'7" with 2" heels. It moved very nicely and was fun to dance in. I wound up going with one size up so that I had some room to breath in the bust, but found it to be true to size.

Absolute perfection
Absolutely my favourite RTR so far. So many compliments! This dress was a gorgeous silk with a beautiful colour and pattern. The wrap design allowed flexibility to get a perfect fit over my larger bust. I used a tiny pin at the top and fashion tape down the bodice seam and at the waist belt to keep everything in place. I have a short waist and loved that the belt could sit at my natural waist rather than below it. It was light and flowed beautifully. I would try wearing with a short, light slip next time.

Perfect balance of delicate and bold
The necklace had several loops to adjust the length. Loved the weight and style the necklace added just the right amount of gold for me without being overpowering the patterned DVF dress I wore with it.

Fantastic fabric and colour
This dress was perfect for a formal fall wedding and received many compliments. The fabric was a gorgeous colour (more vibrant in person than in photos) and was rich without being too heavy. As always, it's great to have pockets! The overall fit of the dress was ok for me, but probably better for someone with a longer torso or slightly less hourglass shape. Like others have said, the zipper is not he best and since the lining is cut fairly narrow, the zipper would bunch instead of lie flat even. I needed to fix this a few times during the event. Wore the dress with a convertible bra with one strap at an angle across the back. Perfect length for me at 5'7" with 2" heels.

Gorgeous colour and fabric
The dress was perfect for a rustic, outdoor wedding. Received many compliments. The fit was true to size and the bodice was great for my 38DDs. Definitely needed fashion tape to keep the bust in place and put another piece where the fabric crosses over in the front to keep it all together. Overall lovely colour, lovely fabric, and a perfect dress for some dancing. Felt a little like I could rule the world.

Great statement necklace
Paired this necklace with the Slate & Willow Navy Petal Dress, which I thought complimented the neckline of the dress very well while adding some colour and sparkle. The chain was a bit worn, but only around the back, which wasn't noticeable.

Gorgeous, classic dress
The dress was a beautiful, thick fabric that felt comfortable all evening at our November engagement party. The colour definitely reads more black than navy and photographs very well. The smaller size fit better it the waist for my hourglass figure, but the pleats fell better in the larger size. I'd recommend anyone with wider hips to order their true size and a size down and see which one gives a better silhouette. The dress sat at my natural waist. Definitely a comfortable amount of room in the bust, I'm a 40DD and felt like a goddess. Paired this dress with the Slate & Willow Camellia necklace (also rented from RTR) which I felt was flattering with the beautiful neckline that this dress has. Well constructed, though my back-up size needed the hem and stitching around the neckline boning to be repaired. Will definitely be renting this dress again!
