I rented this dress for my vacation to Cuba, and I received so many compliments on it! I love that it isn't as long--I'm 5'6 and was able to wear it around town without getting the bottom dirty. I would advise against sizing down because there is a tight cinch along the top ruffle which can make it a little difficult to get on.
