As a size ten US I would recommend a 40, the 42 was roomy. It was super warm and on trend.

Size large was quite small. It ran high cut and wasn't very long, so it's cut for a very short torso. Looked much better on the model. I'm a size 10 and a cup D. It just wasn't flattering.

I'm a size 10 and the large was definitely snug around the waist and hips. It made undergarments tricky because you should see everything. I was prepared for the low cut in the front, but should have paid more attention to the reviews to know about the major reveal on the sides. Used almost an entire roll of double stick tape!
