I loved this dress! My dresses came the night before a black tie event for my husband's supper club. He was working late, so my daughter's helped me try on the dresses. The 10 fit and zipped up but felt like it was a bit too big. However, my 6 year old couldn't zip up the 8 on me. Thankfully, on the night of the event, the hubby was able to zip it up and it was a perfect fit! I felt much more comfortable, and it stayed in place the whole night! The dress has lots of details and is gorgeous. There is an underlayer of tulle to give it a full look. Then a champagne colored silk (?) skirt on which a beaded lace overlay sits. On top of that is a soft tulle flowing skirt. Each layer is a little longer then the one before and looks great together. It's also slightly longer in the back then the front. I got many many compliments on it! and of course don't forget the pockets! I did until the end of the night, they are nicely hidden! One thing to note, is that the model wearing the dress must be very very tall...I assumed the 8R would be tea-length for me, but it was more floor length, and then had a bit of a train in the back. I don't think of myself as a short person, especially with heels on, but if you want the look in the pictures I would order a shorter size then you typically do. For me it worked out fine and I was still able to dance in the dress, but it was longer then I thought it would be.

I ended up loving this dress....I had some delivery issues with the dress I was supposed to be wearing, it showed up the tuesday after the wedding. I called RTR and they overnighted me two new dresses to make sure I had something to wear. (Honestly their customer service was beyond amazing!) I worked with the Bobby (I believe) on the phone to find something that was still in stock and would match the jewelry I owned that worked with the other dress. This dress was great....light weight and flowing. It was a heatwave, so I was thankful for that! As usual with my RTR dresses I had tons of compliments by the time the night was over!

This was my first experience with rent the runway. I loved the dress and got many many compliments on it. Most people I told about renting it loved the idea as well and thought they would try it for their next event. I will certainly use this service again. I will say though, this particular dress you could tell had been worn many many times as it showed some signs of wash and wear. From the volume of reviews I assumed it had been used but it came looking a little more worn then I thought. In the light of a wedding reception though no one noticed and like I said I had many compliments. My daughters were flower girls so I was dressed in this dress from 9am-11pm. I needed to spend more time worrying about them then myself. The dress was comfortable for this extended time!
