Almost perfect
Ended up being really pretty and perfect for the occasion. The slit running up the front was too high and wasn't flattering so I actually carefully tied the ruffles together in the front which gave me an additional 2 inches of coverage. With the ruffles and the pattern, it was almost undetectable.

This coat was amazing. Very MK Olsen/New York vibes. I wore with all black underneath and my white and black Vejas. Felt like a badass!

I maneuvered it in a way to make it look right. I ended up taking the flap of fabric from the inside and pulling it over the top for more visual interest.
