Poor fit
Shoulders ride up and made me look like a linebacker, which is a shame for an otherwise very cute sweater. If you have broader shoulders, perhaps not an issue.

Lots of compliments. For a work holiday party called "Time of our Lives". 80s retro theme.
The dress fit the theme with class and elegance without being too retro. It was nice to wear a warm dress in winter, that still allowed me to move!

Floor length for shorties!
As a petite, apple-shaped, and short-waisted woman, I found this dress was great for creating a waistline, maintaining comfort, but still possessing a fashionable flair. My only complaints are that on a petite like me, the shoulders were loose and some of the lace was a little worn from wear and tear. However, I loved that getting a tea length dress allowed me to have the floor-length experience without worry! So, if you're a shorty like me and considering floor length, this is a great option! I was able to wear flat sandals comfortably for the beach wedding I went to.

Fit was a little loose. I normally wear a 10 or 12, and I feel a size 6 would have actually fit. Definitely size down. Beautiful neckline. I felt like the belle of the cocktail holiday party at my company.

I wore this to a bachelorette party and it was perfect. I got SO many compliments on the dress.
The fit was a bit slouchier than I would have liked, because I am so short I probably should have worn a size six. Otherwise, though, it was perfect. I wouldn't normally wear something so sparkly, but because it was an NYC bachelorette party, it worked. I loved that for RTR you can try out wearing styles you wouldn't normally keep in your closet. I was in the bathroom at an improv show, and there was a line of girls waiting, and I had just come out and washed my hands and was looking for the trash can. I inquired as to where the trash can was and a girl replied and moved to the side --"Sorry. It's behind me. I was so distracted by the beauty of your dress." Best compliment of the night. Some of the sequins are disappearing from the dress, and you can tell it's been worn a few times, but it is still in very good shape. I definitely recommend.

Faded from overuse
Beautiful clutch for a night out, but my version was worn and faded! The fastener was also worn, so popped open frequently on my evening out, which is dangerous! I loved the color combo--with enou neutral colors mixed in to go with almost anything.

Don't size up if you are petite!
In all the reviews I read, everyone recommended sizing up for this dress as it ran small. I ordered to UK 12/14 (US 6/8 equivalent) and found both to be large on the shoulders/arms/stomach. So much so that it actually poofed up above my shoulders. The print, however, is stunning enough to save the poor fit of the garment, I think if you have a good shoulder and narrow hips, then this dress would be perfect for you! This is also a dress that can go casual or dressy (I dressed down with a day look in leggings/boots/leather jacket). Also, the darker stripe color is navy, not black--surprise!
