A perfect Mother’s Day dress for church. I received innumerable compliments 🎀🌸💕 I used previous reviews to help choose my size, and the 6 was the right fit for me. RTR suggested the 8, which is my usual size.

Effortless Cocktail Hour Style
You know what? I was afraid this would be too short, but I’m glad I took the risk. It came together nicely for the relaxed but professional cocktail hour outfit I envisioned. The size RTR suggested fit well without feeling too tight on the hips or too loose in the waist (always a worry of mine with an hourglass shape). I didn’t need safety pins between the buttons 🙌🏾, and I could sit comfortably in it.

Great basic. Perfect peplum.
TTS. Well-structured. Quality material. Long sleeves that keep their shape when folded. The V-neck plunges low, but nothing a cami can’t fix. It’s just really the perfect peplum. There’s a brown version in the same design from this brand that I previously rented. It’s such a great fashion basic and truly purchasable because you can wear it a million times in multiple settings. I’m just not willing to pay for it LOL. I’ll keep both in rotation for repeat rentals.

Dislike the patten. Love the design.
As I suspected before renting this, I just don’t love the pattern, but it is quite lovely to wear. Lightweight. Conservative. Amazing for an hourglass figure. Pockets. And the side zipper was easy to get up on my own! Give me this exact dress without a pattern and in a neutral color…I would purchase it. Length is a little longer on me than I would like for a midi, but it would fall perfectly on someone taller. Probably TTS.

The color and buttons 😍
The color is just as beautiful in person as it is online. Vibrant. The material is butter smooth and high-quality. The gold buttons are the perfect touch. Easy to dress up or down, wear to work or around town. I’d say it’s overall TTS, but the sleeves are AGGRESSIVELY wide toward the elbow; maybe oversized is the better word. The model photos hinted at that, but honestly it’s worth it if you have a flair for the dramatics. If not, you might find it annoying. Folding the sleeves helped with styling. Worn for a quick mid-day date with hubby and for everything else.

So easy to wear! The structure creates such a lovely silhouette. Though it’s a bit short, it maintains a professional edge when styled correctly. I would still be cautious if your work setting is very conservative; I risked it wearing it with boots 😅🤷🏾♀️

Flows well. Not a drop waist (thank God). Total compliment magnet. On first try, the shoulder-to–upper arm area felt a little awkward and tight, but that improved once I pulled the sleeves up slightly on my forearms. I don’t think I have abnormally broad shoulders, but I do have thicker upper arms and a larger cup size, so that may have impacted the fit? Just something to keep in mind when deciding to rent it; don’t skip this one. There’s also a short-sleeve navy blue version I rented last summer that was also perfection.

Short (not cropped), boxy, and a bit shapeless, but it came together nicely with this outfit. It definitely wouldn’t have worked with the outfit I originally rented it for, so keep that in mind if you decide to rent it. Well-made otherwise, warm, and the cute little styling details at the shoulders and sleeves set it apart from being just a plain old sweater. TTS.

Lovely colors. The fit is oversized, so if you’re between sizes, you could probably size down. The sleeves do run a little short, so taller girlies may not love that. It’s an easy throw-on piece for days when you don’t feel like thinking too much about what to wear. The material isn’t soft and cozy but it is warm.

Worn to work and to a church event. So many compliments. The material is light. The design does require a cami underneath &/or and a nude bra. I want to hold onto it because I know it won't be available for repeat rentals; all the girlies are going to eat this up for Spring! The recommended size for me was a L, and it fit perfectly, even though I'm usually a M. I'd go with the size chart rather than what you might assume is your true size.

Not a keeper but worth the wear
Worth the one-time wear to church. There’s a lot of material, so I would be curious to try it in a small to see if it might fit a little better, even though medium is my true size. The waistband does help it keep its shape. The pattern, color, and fabric are lovely in person; the photos don’t do it justice.

Hovers close to cropped but probably just runs short. Wore it for travel on vacation checkout day. Light and breezy enough to keep on at the resort, but still offered enough coverage to not look weird once I landed back in cold weather lol. Kept a scarf handy to stay warm during the flight. Cute, but I probably wouldn’t rent it again. It didn’t feel stylish enough to justify using a rental spot.

A little meh for Farm Rio.
Surprisingly, this one was just okay to me, even though I usually love everything Farm Rio. The quality didn’t seem to be up to par, but it was cute enough to still wear. It has a functional drawstring at the waist, so you can size down if you’re between sizes. The V-neck was too low for my taste, so I added one safety pin to bring it up a bit. I’m obsessive enough that I took the time to steam out the little tassels at the end of the skirt, which was obviously tedious, but worth the ROI.

♥️🤍 The dress code was winter white for this winter wonderland-themed married couples event our church hosted. Perfect. Conservative enough for the setting, but still flirty enough for date night. The sparkles weren’t overwhelming; I looked great, but I wasn’t the center of attention, which is exactly what I wanted. Shoes were tricky for me in both style and color choice, but a last-minute purchase of brown boots with sensible heels was perfection. TTS. I initially rented the 38, which was way too snug.

…But the size I got was just too big, and I couldn’t figure out how to style it in a way that recovered from that. It’s very boxy, high-quality, and extremely well-tailored. I’m not convinced it would look good on me even in a smaller size, so I won’t be trying again. But if this is your style, you should absolutely give it a shot. You won’t regret it!
