I have rented this multiple times in size S (first in 2020) but ended up buying it (5 years later!) in a size M for a bit more room and longer sleeves. As other reviewers have said, this is somewhere between a sweater and top, almost like a ribbed scuba fabric. I could see a top like this being an active part of my everyday wardrobe. Purple pants seem like a huge statement and dressing challenge, but these are super versatile and a lovely, neutral-ish gray/purple color. I rented this bag for a weekend with friends in Savannah and loved it. The ability to wear it crossbody meant my hands were free to stroll and shop without having to worry about my bag. It isn't huge, but I was surprised when I was able to fit my full-sized wallet, a small sunglasses case and a mini bottle of water in it.
